I recently had the pleasure of trying the Gamandi Lassi, and I must say it was a unique and refreshing beverage that left me pleasantly surprised. Gamandi Lassi is a traditional Indian yogurt-based drink known for its creamy texture and distinct flavor.
The lassi at Gamandi was served in a tall glass, topped with a generous dollop of thick malai (cream). The first sip was a burst of flavors that instantly awakened my taste buds. The lassi had a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess, creating a delightful harmony of flavors. The yogurt used was smooth and creamy, giving the lassi a velvety consistency that was incredibly satisfying.
What made Gamandi Lassi stand out was the addition of aromatic spices, such as cardamom and saffron. These spices enhanced the overall flavor profile, adding a subtle and exotic touch to the drink. The saffron strands floating in the lassi not only looked visually appealing but also contributed to its unique taste.
The portion size was generous, making it a filling and satisfying beverage. The lassi was served chilled, which was perfect for quenching my thirst on a hot day. The presentation was simple yet elegant, and the service at Gamandi was prompt and friendly.
If you're looking for a refreshing and indulgent drink, I highly recommend trying the Gamandi Lassi. Its creamy texture, delightful flavors, and aromatic spices make it a true treat for the taste buds. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian beverages or simply looking to explore new flavors, Gamandi Lassi is definitely...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at Ghamandi at Sarwate bus stand outlet. I ordered what was supposed to be their "special lassi," but to my dismay, it was nothing more than an ordinary lassi. Back in 2013, they offered two distinct types of lassi – simple for 25 rs. and special for 35 rs. However, in 2023, they no longer prepare the special lassi and are charging a whopping 50 rs. for what is essentially an ordinary lassi. This is misleading and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. It would have been far more honest if they had maintained the quality of the special lassi from 2013 and adjusted the price accordingly. It's a clear case of a decline in both quality and customer value, and I would caution anyone against falling for this...

There is nothing special in lassi. It's just sweet curd they are serving in the name of lassi. There are hardly any dryfruit in dry fruit lassi. I also ordered mango lassi it's just a curd with a little bit of mango shake in it. It costed 60rs. I also opted for mango ice cream for which they charged 50rs extra for a single scoop without even telling that ice creme is charged extra in spite of me asking in the beginning. So be careful when ordering they often cheat...
