I had been wanting to visit this place ever since it opened, and I finally got to take the Inizio experience 🇮🇹
🌿 Ambience:
The ambience is really nice and cozy , almost like a little slice of Italy right here.
Last time I visited on a weekend evening, and the place was packed with limited seating, so I’d recommend enquiring or reserving in advance if you plan to go on weekends.
This time, we visited on a weekday afternoon, and there was ample seating available, so it felt more relaxed.
It’s a well lit space with lots of picturesque corners worth capturing and posting.
We sat upstairs this time, and while it was comfortable, I personally liked the downstairs area better , it has more natural light .
If you enjoy taking photos, definitely try visiting during the day when there’s good sunlight. The bright, well-lit ambience makes both your food and your table look even more inviting.
🍝 Food:
The menu is mostly Italian and offers a tempting variety of authentic dishes, especially a good range of pasta and woodfire/thin crust pizzas.
During my first visit, we ordered the Rigatoni pasta cooked in mushroom sauce and chilli oil, served topped with grated parmesan the authentic way. The pasta was freshly made and tasted absolutely buonissimo (delicious), though the quantity felt a little less.
Next, we tried the Fresh Farm Pizza filled with exotic veggies and melting cheese. The pizza was massive , far bigger than I expected and completely worth the price. We had ordered the woodfire version, which was a bit less crispy, so I’d recommend going for the thin crust if you prefer more crunch.
Recently, I got the chance to visit this beautiful café again with my friends, and it was honestly a delight. I was so tempted by the menu that I ended up ordering the same dishes again because I was genuinely obsessed with them: the mushroom rigatoni pasta with mushroom sauce, parmesan, and chilli oil, which was just as delicious as before.
This time, we also had the Farm Fresh Pizza with a thin crust. It was decent overall, though personally, I felt the one I had during my earlier visit was a little better in terms of flavour and texture.
🍹 Beverages:
We tried two amazing beverages but was very disappointed with their quantities. Inizio should really work upon this .
The first one was called Peachy Flower, a unique drink with peach, floral notes, thyme, and several other ingredients that made it so refreshing. It was moderately sweet without being overly sugary , perfect to sip between bites🍸
The second drink was the Blood Orange Zinger, which was equally good and looked stunning—the colours were so vibrant and photogenic 🍷
💁 Service:
The service overall was decent—I’d rate it about 3.5 out of 5. The staff was polite and friendly, and the timing of service was decent , not too fast, not too slow.
💵 Pricing & Value for Money:
In terms of value for money, I’d say it’s definitely on the expensive side.
The portion sizes partially justify the pricing, some might find the servings a bit small compared to the higher prices.
For me, the quality mostly makes up for it, but you should know upfront that this is not a place for cheap, grab-and-go bites. It’s a proper dining experience, and I’d recommend checking the menu online so you’re prepared.
🧼 Cleanliness:
Cleanliness was great , the tables, cutlery, and space were all spotless. I’d rate the cleanliness 4/5.
👥 Who It’s For:
The café attracts all kinds of people , families, couples, groups of friends, and solo diners. It’s perfect for dates, work meetings, or celebrations.
📸 Tips:
Don’t come here expecting cheap food at all, this is a place for a more special meal.
If you enjoy photography, try to visit when there’s good sunlight so you can get great photos of both your table and yourself.
🇮🇹 Final Thoughts:
Overall, it’s a beautiful place for authentic Italian food, thoughtfully crafted beverages, and a warm atmosphere that feels special.
Definitely worth trying at least once and probably more than once if you love good pasta and a...

Inizio, in Italian means a positive beginning and that's what it is doing for the tastebuds of Indoris. Also, this determines the vibes of this centrally located pizzeria cum causal dining place.
I am so happy that I got a chance to explore this place and try some exceptional and experimental food option here at Inizio. The place is an idea to provide customers with authenticity rolled up in creativity. I need to put up this word 'creativity' as it reflects not only in the dishes but in the part of their ambiance as well.
You enter into a modern style sitting spaces on ground and first floor, when you enter Inizio. Upper deck has sofas to sit and relax with your families as well. You see a clean and hygienic open kitchen concept, high-end coffee machines and sets of 'oh so outlandish' cutlery on the walls. The coffee mugs and mocktail glasses are so attractive that you want to have one or click with one of them for your feed.
Now let me describe my food experience at Inizio. Flat bread with Black Hummus, Olive Tapenade and Feta dip - Black Hummus is unique but olive tapenade goes exceptional with flat bread. This can be your go-to food option to end your hunger needs.
Burrata with Spiced Tomato Relish, Chimichuri, Dukkha and Flat Bread- The most instagrammable dish presented really well. Burrata is soft and gel really good with everything else.
Cheese Crusted Broccoli with Romesco Sauce and Roasted Almonds- My favourite among all. I can visit here again and again only for this dish.
Fettucine in Napoli and Cream Sauce- Great option for pasta lovers.
Farm Fresh pizza in Thin Crust- For me, it is among the top 10 pizzas in Indore.
Deconstructed Coffee Almond Cake- Well crafted coffee loaded for your sweet tooth. A hint of orange syrup adds freshness to it.
Mango Shrikhand Foam with Basil and peppercorn cream and mango caviar- Among the most innovative desserts I have ever tried. Most recommended.
Coffees and Mocktails- Some great offerings here. Presented really well. My picks, Watermelon Granita and Blueberry cheesecake shake.
Concluding my words, this place deserves your visit with your friends or family, especially to try some food options that Indore has never tried before. Also, it will be an addition to your beautiful instagram feed if you click yourself here...
Read moreHi guys,
Visited the place recently, this is situated near janjeerwala and beside NBC (nothing before coffee), ambiance is really nice and sitting is comfortable. You have limited sitting options but they are sufficient.
We ordered Paneer wood fired sandwich , cannoli and fresh farm wood fired pizza , the pizza was really good better than any wood fired pizza I had , even better than zonatello, but sandwich was really horrible it has nothing other than letuce and cheese, it was tasteless tasteless, it was really dry and felt all burnt (over burnt ), burnt is good but till a certain point, i have attached photo you can see how much burnt i am talking about. and cannoli was okay could have been a bit bigger specially looking at the price.
Overall price to quantity ratio is good specially for pizza (450 rs approx 12+ inch ), for sandwich it was not worth (300 rs). overall service is very very slow, they took forever to bring cannoli (we sitting there were wondering that they have forgotten for sure).
One time visit place for me, Only Recommending for pizza and everything else experience can vary from...
