Naveen's Bapu Ki Kutia — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

So, I've had a lot of different dishes here, and the experience has not been good.

Firstly, the menu. There are quite a lot of dishes on their menu, except they can't provide you half of them. On each of my visits, for some or the other reason, one or more dishes that I want to eat that are on their menu just cannot be made. This is unacceptable. If you cannot serve a dish to the customer, it shouldn't be on your menu, plain and simple. Listing dishes on the menu just for the sake of doing it is bad practice.

Secondly, there's the dishes themselves. After the waiter telling you that what you want to eat isn't available again and again, you finally decide on a dish that they can serve. It comes. But it is completely flavourless.The Pasta is bland, there's too much spice in the Butter Paneer, the Kolhapuri is a mess of flavours that don't go well and in the end it just comes out as a disaster. The naan is dry from moisture and looks old that has been reheated to be served, so with the chapatis and other flatbreads. The coffee has chocolate in it? I didn't order a mocha coffee, I ordered a cold coffee. What if I can't consume chocolate and want to have cold coffee? You'll serve with chocolate syrup on the glass edges. The raita is bland and hard and many dishes are either a little burnt or undercooked.

Furthermore, the wait times. They have improved on this from before. But they used to have incredibly long wait times for even the simplest dishes. Why do I have to wait half an hour for a little arrabbiata pasta? And not to mention the arrabbiata sauce (red sauce) doesn't even taste like an arrabbiata sauce, it just tastes like if someone inexperienced has tried making it for the first time in a time scramble...except that they took 30 mins for it.

I am giving them 2 stars because they atleast serve the food on my table whatever the condition. Not...

Worst experience ever, bed management,time taking, no relationship between taste and they charge for that food items ,the food have an average taste I was ordered mix veg here and taste was like eating some tasteless vegetable with chapaties. And one more thing I have to order full thali yesterday and the they said we are not taking thali order on Sundays if you want you have to wait for more then half an hour what kind of rubbish is this and then we have to compro and ordered that tasteless mix-veg. And one more thing in front of my table one couple arrived and they said please change normal water bottle to chilled water so the person who was taking order give him a fully iced bottle like a rock seriously why kind of hospitility is this. Disappointed hit me hard in your restaurant I'm never visit...

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my family for a weekend dinner, and it was a good experience. Since it's close to my place, we decided to try it out. We ordered their special thali, tandoori butter roti, and paneer sabji.

The thali was enjoyable, offering a variety of items, including a sweet treat of one gulab jamun. The tandoori roti was well-prepared and complemented the meal nicely.

Overall, the food was satisfying, and the proximity to our home made it a convenient choice. The service was prompt, and the staff was attentive, enhancing our dining experience. We were pleased with the variety and quality of the dishes.
