We visited Pet Pooja at late hours of noon after being turned down by two nearby restaurants. The ones that turned us down suggested Pet Pooja restaurant. The ambience was above average and furniture was made of bamboo wood. The crowd appeared to be from local Ujjain. The manager welcomed us politely and assured us of the availability of lunch. He offered us 3 plate-sampler choices (thali). We chose the special thali which contained maximum samples since we could hear the gurgles of food pangs from the stomach.
