🚨 PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING – Halal Doubts

I had ordered from a Subway outlet in Bhopal (Lal Ghati), and after eating, I had a serious doubt about the meat’s freshness and halal status. When I tried calling the restaurant, no one picked up. Later, I spoke to another branch staff, and they sent me a halal certificate — but shockingly, it only mentioned plant-based veg products, not chicken or lamb!

When I asked why meat wasn’t included, they told me: “We just started lamb now, so it’s not on the certificate yet. But trust us, it’s halal.”

Sorry, but that’s not how halal works. Verbal claims mean nothing without a valid, up-to-date certificate. This is not just a Muslim issue — it’s about honesty for all religious communities. If you are Muslim, Jain, or anyone who eats with faith-based restrictions, you deserve transparency.

🗣️ I’ve already emailed Subway India, the halal certification board, and consumer protection.

Subway is always a reliable choice when you're craving something fresh and made your way. The ingredients were crisp, the bread was perfectly baked, and the overall sandwich tasted great. I really like the freedom to customize everything to your taste—makes each visit a bit unique.

I have been to multiple subways across India and overseas too, But i must say the professionally and the quality wise is this specific outlet will top ‘em all. I have ordered the simplest parmesan origano bread sub in aloo tikki, In fact asked the chef to drop the sauces of standard choice of mild spicy… and violaaaa this turned up to be the best one as “Cook knows what and how much to put… keep it up guyzz…. Also kudos the the owner duo who showed up with humble and ready to serve behaviour instead of attitude guys like other places… Keep it up...
