British Bakery Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Madurai

Have been hearing about this Harry Potter themed restaurant above British Bakery in Narimedu and decided to try it today.

Parking is a challenge. Climbing up the round winding stairs is not that comfortable and if you are heavy and aged, climbing down would be a real challenge.

Ambience is nice with a dull typical Hogwarts mood and warm lighting. It's a 30 seater place. Good to have a quick, small budget parties.

Only one person was serving the whole restaurant and expect delays in getting your food.

Club chicken sandwich was awesome & in good volume. Nachos loaded with chicken was also great, but mind to have it before the chips get soaked. BBC Burger combo was ok Fried chicken was too crispy and outer batter was hard Chicken Parmigiana was good too.

Pricing is slightly on the upper side. Good for surprising with an experience to someone with a different...

Had a takeaway of donut's, cake's and other bakery items couple of days back.

Checked with the staff before packing, whether the items are fresh, and got an reply that they get their products delivered freshly everyday to their store.

To my disappointment, the donut's were not fresh and smooth as they are meant to be, instead they were dry/hard and find it difficult to swallow.

The same goes with the chocolate cake as well. Only good was the honey cake purchased.
