SRI ABIRAMI TIFFIN CENTRE — Restaurant in Madurai

This was an absolute gem right on the mian street serving delicious breakfast. I can still recall the mind-blowing taste as I write this review which cannot be described in words. We tried almost everything such as podi idli, uttapam, dosa, vada, kesar bhat, idli and few more things but forgot the names. Each and every item was amazing & you have to try to comment on it. My personal favorite was podi idli, uttapam & masala dosa with all their 3 chutneys & sambar.

Although we faced a little language barrier but that did not stop us from having what we were wishing to & on top of that, even the staff was so helpful with their little understanding for hindi or english that they just kept asking what more we wanted and kept serving for more. A hearty yummy breakfast & a great ending to our stay in this wonderful city of Madurai before we left for our onward journey. If I ever visit Madurai in future, this will be my go to place for sure. Very tasty items.. all items.. Many varieties and unique dishes are there.. Nei podi idly, Finger Idly, Chilly idly, Muttai idli, Muttai idiyappam, Kuthuraivali pongal, Adai dosai, Poondu Podi dosai, Panneer dosai, Mushroom munchurian.. all are very tasty and Must try.. Veg tiffin hotel.. Morning and Evening only Egg is available..

Very quality food, 4 varieties of chutney, liberal and quick servings, reasonable price only.. However quite congested seating only, crowdy in peak hours

Checked in this hotel after seeing crowd always. Ghee podi idly must try mouth watering. For podi lovers this is the right restaurant. Also tried egg idyyapam kothu ghee podi roast every thing was good with three chutneys and sambar. They give sambol type coconut grated garlic on request. They have Many varieties in idli dosa items and few in porata chapathi idyappam. Noodles fried rice also available.
