Visited this place on popular demand from friends who had been here earlier. But the restaurant did not match to any of the expectations we had! The overall taste of all the parathas was a bit mild and lacked proper flavour. They add potato to all their parathas so if you are not a potato (aloo) fan then you are surely not gonna like this place. We ordered for the aloo paratha and the cheese onion paratha, and both had a lot of aloo in it. The aloo paratha was very blend but the cheese onion was nice much better than the first one. We also ordered the JAIN ALL VEG PARATHA and it was really nice! We did not expect it to be so good but it is really nice with the good amount of Methi and cabbage in it.
Would have given this place maybe 3.5 stars but giving it only 3 cause the staff was really bad! They looked not at all interested in taking orders and serving the guests! They were least bothered for their job and even ordered a wrong paratha for us! We refused to take the paratha and only then, another staff came and got us the correct paratha.
We were planning to order the Pav bhaji also but just then heard the other table complaining about slate breads in the Pav Bhaji!! So we refrained from ordering that!
All in all the owners don't seem to be interested in keeping their good name going! Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO VISIT THIS PLACE IN...

I recently visited this with a group of friends, and I must say that our experience was quite disappointing and unsafe. From the moment we entered, we were met with a stench and an overall unhygienic atmosphere. The plates on our table had marks on them.
It is a very small place and the chairs were positioned in such a way that our legs were blocking the way slightly. The owner, who seemed to be inebriated, rudely signaled for us to adjust our seating, even going so far as to scold us under his breath. His impolite gestures left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable.
When it came time to settle the bill, we requested to pay using UPI. However, we were told that only cash was accepted. The owner's response was not only abrupt but also rude, leaving us taken aback. Even after explaining that we didn't have cash on hand, he remained unhelpful and dismissive. The staff member embarrassed by the owner's behavior tried to calm down the Situation but he was shouting on him saying “Cash nayi tho hum ko kya? It was evident that customer respect was not a priority.
We ordered aloo paratha and the taste was disappointingly bland.
In a time when even small coffee shops embrace digital payments, it's astonishing that this restaurant insists solely on cash without any signage to indicate...
Read moreAkbar Ali's Paratha's House at Panchgani is a great place to eat when around. There is a Pay & Park facility about 200m away from here, which is a relief.
The ambiance is bare basic and they should provide better facilities inside. The service is prompt and receptive. They serve thick stuffed fried parathas here along with Pav Bhaji & Dosas.
We ordered: Aloo Paratha - Highly recommended. Crispy with a delicious potato filling. Methi Paneer Paratha - Contained much more methi than paneer. Was alright.
A meal for two can cost about Rs. 300, which is very reasonable for the overall ambiance and good quality of food. I would definitely recommend this place as a food stop for...
