I had one of the WORST dining experiences at Chhapan Bhog Thali Restaurant, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. We had made a prior reservation for 6 people for my birthday celebration, clearly requesting a sofa table as we had two toddlers with us — in the middle of 40°C April heat.
To our shock, not only was no table reserved, but the staff, including the owner himself, were rude, unapologetic, and outright abusive when we calmly asked about our booking. Instead of showing basic courtesy or trying to help, we were rudely asked to leave.
Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a hospitality business. No value for customer time, comfort, or occasion. We were left stranded with toddlers in extreme heat on what was supposed to be a special day. This is the kind of place that ruins your celebration.
I strongly recommend everyone to avoid this place. There are far better thali restaurants nearby that know how to treat their customers with respect. Don’t waste your time or ruin...
Read moreWorst worst worst restaurant. For group they deal very arrogant after taking advance..The food was well below standard — bland, poorly prepared, and far from fresh. It was a complete letdown for what we expected, especially for a group event.
The service was equally disappointing. Staff were inattentive, slow, and seemed uninterested in resolving basic requests. What made matters worse was the attitude of the management — arrogant and dismissive, showing little concern for our experience.
It was clear they prioritize regular or high-spending customers, and if you’re hosting a group event or special occasion, don't expect any effort to make you feel welcome. The entire experience lacked professionalism, hospitality, and quality.
Definitely not recommended — especially for events or gatherings. There are far better places that offer both decent food and...
