Review: Sonnas Kitchen and Bar
If you're seeking a place where flavor meets finesse, Sonnas Kitchen and Bar is a hidden gem that truly delivers a remarkable dining experience. From the first step inside to the final bite of dessert, everything speaks of thoughtful craftsmanship and refined taste.
Food & Flavors: The culinary journey at Sonnas is nothing short of exceptional. The Ravioli is a must-try – perfectly al dente pasta parcels filled with a rich, creamy filling that melts in the mouth. Each bite is balanced, fresh, and indulgent. The Butter Garlic Prawns are another standout. Juicy, well-cooked prawns tossed in a fragrant garlic-butter sauce that bursts with flavor without overpowering the natural sweetness of the seafood. It's a dish that leaves a lasting impression.
Desserts & Cocktails: No visit is complete without indulging in their Tiramisu. It’s airy, moist, and elegantly layered with the right notes of coffee and mascarpone – easily one of the best in town. Their cocktail menu deserves its own spotlight. Creative, well-balanced, and beautifully presented, each drink showcases premium spirits and fresh ingredients. Whether you prefer something bold or refreshingly light, their mixology won’t disappoint.
Ambience & Atmosphere: The ambience strikes the perfect balance between cozy and sophisticated. Warm lighting, tasteful décor, and a playlist that complements the vibe make it ideal for both intimate dinners and casual hangouts. The atmosphere feels inviting without being overly loud – a rare and welcome combination.
Staff & Service: Service at Sonnas is top-tier. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about food and hospitality. They’re attentive without being intrusive, and always ready with recommendations that suit your preferences.
Verdict: Sonnas Kitchen and Bar is a breath of fresh air in the dining scene – a place where quality ingredients, skilled cooking, and heartfelt service come together seamlessly. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an elevated yet relaxed...

Read moreHad high hopes for Sonna Kitchen and Bar, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. Here’s a quick breakdown of what I tried:
Farmfresh Pizza – Tasted average (2.5/5), priced at 365Rs.
Lasagne – Slightly better than expected (3.3/5), 365Rs.
Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice – Just normal (3/5)375Rs.
Blue Ocean – Decent and refreshing (3.4/5), 265Rs.
Brownie with Ice Cream – Priced at 159Rs ,and i only asked them to write "Happy Birthday"on it and a single little candle, for which they charged me 140Rs extra just for that ,making it total of 300Rs and even the brownie was hard and icecream was not that good-which was really disappointing and not worth it .
On the positive side, the ambience was pleasant and the staff was courteous, especially a team member named Piru (hope I got the name right, apologies if the spelling is wrong) – definitely a highlight of the visit.
The total bill was around ₹1800, which might have been acceptable if the food quality matched the pricing. Sadly, the taste was average, and the unnecessary brownie charge really ruined the experience for me.They could’ve at least charged fairly instead of adding such an unreasonable amount just for a small birthday message.
I initially thought of giving 3 stars for the ambience and service, but considering the food and pricing issues, I’m settling on 2.Won't be...
