It's pleasure to write on this wall about Chhaya Upahar Gruha, most of the time when we ask people they say I love the food , delicious mouth watering so on . But for me it was like my own house dinning room.I was stationed in Ratnagiri for more then 5years, This entire period I never felt I am away from my home . My morning first tea and then breakfast again comeback in the evening to have Pattise and cup of tea. I don't have words to express. Read moreOne of the oldest cafe in Ratnagiri, it's iconic in its location, architecture, taste and everything. Serving people for over 50 years now, well known for their iconic Pav Pattice ( A deep fried bread pattice filled with mushy potato vegetable inside and coated with besan flour) and tasty coffee. There are many other items on their menu including south indian food. Personally I love pattice only, it's just scrumptious and tastes great with buttermilk based chutney.
