This place has a variety of options, but the food quality is strictly average to poor. Good only if you are famished. And the service at most outlets is very poor. I can share my experience with a few…
Wagh Bakri 👌 Excellent tea. Good customer service. And great value for money. Have had tea from other outlets here as well. Nothing comes close to this one.
Dominos 🫣 In spite if having 2 counters, they have just one lady at one of the counters… and even she is too busy checking her phone, “when the customer is at the counter” reading the menu 🙈
McDonalds If the brand has earned a good name elsewhere, this outlet is enough to ruin it. 2 self order kiosks don’t work. They go thru’ the entire process and stop responding during card payment. They have just one counter open on most occasions “even with a long line” of customers waiting to place their orders. During this last visit, we ordered just “fries” and believe it or not, it took 20 mins of waiting. Now imagine other orders. And the glass panel in the counter makes it a real challenge for customers to order (especially is all that noise in the food court) 😰
Shri Datta 🙅🙅♀️ This is a disaster in the name of Maharashtrian food Just one counter to order. You will take min 15 mins to reach the counter. Once you do reach, you will learn that they do not accept any other form of payment other than cash And 8 out if 10 times, they don’t have change; so, you are left waiting for it forever or letting it pass The food is served at 3-4 counters, but it’s an utter chaos. It’s a survival of the fittest kind of experience. If you have strong vocal chords and are willing to execute a mini stampede, then your coupon will be taken. But that doesn’t mean your food will arrive soon. 🙇♂️ Finally, when your order arrives, someone will claim it as theirs or just take it away if you are not still standing close to the counter. And the servers have no clue who’s order it is. There’s so much noise and commotion here that the waiters cant hear you and they don’t care either The food is a sham. Tasteless and mostly unhealthy (oil) The spoons are not washed properly, so avoid using them. Take one from another outlet. You will be safe from viruses.
Disclaimer: We tried these places on 2-3 occasions just to make sure of the experience. Unfortunately, not much difference between rush hour and happy hours.
Our advice: Stop here “only” if you really must. And when you do, try the smaller brands.
The toilets are nice and clean though. And there is good amount of parking as well. But beware of car scratch remover vendor menace in the...
Read moreThe experience left much to be desired. 🚗💨 While the location is convenient for travelers, the quality and service fell short of expectations.
The cutting chai ☕ was lukewarm and tasted watered down, lacking the strong, aromatic flavor you’d expect from a highway tea stall. The vada pav 🍽️ was equally underwhelming—stale bun and a bland, oily vada that felt like it had been sitting out for hours. Even the samosas were soggy and lacked any crispness.
Service was slow and disorganized 🐌, despite the counter not being crowded. Staff seemed disinterested, and basic requests (like extra napkins or sugar) were met with half-hearted gestures. The food court area itself felt cramped and poorly maintained—tables were sticky, and the floor had leftover crumbs from previous customers. 🧹❌
For the price charged (₹50 for a basic vada pav and ₹30 for chai), the value-for-money factor is questionable. You’d find better-quality snacks and fresher tea at roadside dhabas along the same highway. 🤑👎
The only saving grace? The location 🛣️, which makes it a quick stop for weary travelers. But if you’re looking for a satisfying meal or even a decent cuppa, this isn’t the spot.
Skip unless absolutely desperate. There are far better options on this route. 🙅♂️🚫
