Govinda's Restaurant — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Had ordered Cheese Grilled Sandwich, samosas, Vada pav, rasgulla, mysore pak, besan Laddu from Govinda's, ISKCON, Ravet. Regret to have ordered from here. Pathetic quality. Such spicy food. And to worsen the experience, Rasgullas appear so stale and even an ant was found in the syrup. Even Besan Laddu and mysore pak are so dry and stale. While eating food, a small stone was also found. Given the reputation of ISKCON, Govinda's must maintain the basic hygiene and standard of food. Once had also dined in there. The ambience is so contradictory to an eatery in the temple premises. We prefer a satvik eatery but now I believe will have to drop Govinda's out...

All they have on the menu is fastfood items - Pizza, sandwiches, Chinese etc. We ordered Govinda's Suprimo Pizza, which was not that tasty. Sweets like Gulab jamun, Maisur pak, sohan papdi etc made in Pure desi ghee are delicious. I would have given 5 stars if they had Indian menu items like Puri bhaji, Shrikhand Puri, Kadhi Khichdi etc. ISKON official canteen should promote indian food items instead of Western fast food. Best food, specially without Onion & Garlic. All hygiene & cleanliness is maintained. They have self service over here & open kitchen. So you can have an look at your food while it's been cooked.

They also serve some of good Natural's Ice-Cream.

I assume some of the amout gets donated to Temple. As it may be run by ISKCON Authorities itself. So its good by some of the other mean you contribute your Money for...
