One can identify this place easily on the lane with a huge name board with attractive red colour. This outlet is spacious, they have another more than 30+ outlets. The place is neat. People are polite. There is a limited menu that includes only one type of misal, matki bhel, taak (buttermilk), solkadhi(spiced coconut milk). That's why service is quite faster. Misal tastes decent, medium to spicy. There is a misal bowl, 1 bun/pav(huge), a small bowl of curd, matki, salad, lemon dice. We had ordered 2 misals and there was one mug of the sample/rassa. We didn't expect matki bhel with such a huge quantity. It is self-sufficient as a meal. If one having along with misal then 2-3 people can finish it. It tastes good, a combination of murmurs (puffed rice), farsan, matki and chunks of quarter onions, salad slices. Buttermilk is served with a top of masala Bundi. It was decent. Solkadhi is a must-try. It tastes sweet and spicy.
We had to tell them to give pan-toasted pav. Middle rows do not have exposure to the fan, so it feels quite hot. Try not to visit when Sun is...

This branch is not at all worth the name. Food: Taste was very bad compared to other locations. I could taste raw masalas while having it. This could have only happened as it was not cooked properly. There was no farsan(Gathi or Papdi); Sev was served with the misal. Butter milk was sour as a lime. Did not understand why Koshimbir was server with misal. Pav tosted in butter was also not needed. Service Service was very poor and slow. This was at the time when there were few customers. No first come first serve. Food was served to people who came after us. We had to wait and ask for our order multiple times. They took time even to serve Pav. Being a Saturday and I-Day eve, they were not at all ready for the crowd. Staff was busy moping the place instead of serving customers.
Not at all recommended. One of my worst...
Read moreGreat misals are not merely about making a tikhat bomb
It is more about making a spice combination which increases your craving to have it more & leaves behind a scintillating effect despite being tikhat
And one fine rainy evening I experienced it here at this outlet
Further if you want to make it fiery, you can add the extra tarri
However I missed the original long Pav of jogeshwari misal, not sure whether they have discontinued it !!
The service was not so encouraging. But there was a genuine humane concern for the customers. The owner took special efforts to serve freshly prepared misal in the early hours of the evening, even if it meant delayed service
Then comes another surprise. The chaha/chai/tea Excellent tea but it wasn't served hot So I ordered one more to calm my soul
And thus a misal memory was etched in my life to remember
Parking was an issue. Because the road outside was narrow & had a big pothole
And the seat arrangement seemed not so good I wish...
