We visited Harihareshwar and, after taking darshan at the temple, we decided to eat vegetarian food. Based on local recommendations, we went to Gurugeeta Hotel, which is about a 7-10 minute walk from the temple.
However, our experience was very disappointing. The kitchen was extremely unhygienic, but since we had no other option, we decided to proceed. We ordered 3 Veg Thalis, and when the food arrived, we found a big hair in the cabbage sabzi. When we informed the owner, he completely ignored our concern instead of addressing it properly. After insisting, they replaced the thali and request them to give a different sabzi.
We then ordered Curd, but it was stale and had a strong foul smell. When we complained again, the owner rudely responded that this is how Curd is in their village. His attitude was unprofessional and lacked basic manners.
I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Do not rely on local recommendations or online reviews—instead, explore other food...
