Was at the inaugural of this, the 47th outlet of Haldiram's, and must say it was a gastronomically delightful experience. The inherent touch of hospitality that this brand is known for, was so evident. Even in the midst of celebrities to commemorate the grand event, the common person was given much prominence. After the initial hustle bustle had quietened, the queue of customers grew by leaps and bounds, pointing to the confidence in this giant food brand. I found the ambience to be welcoming, that is now a legacy of this household brand. Seating arrangement was precise, service was impeccable and the food simply delicious. The new menu, with Jain options, had me craving for more. One bite into the Plain Ghee Podi Dosa and I knew my choice was correct. It was crisp and tasty, besides being very attractively presented. From South Indian fare, to Exotic Veg Pinanzza, Paneer Tikka Pinaanzza, Sev Puri and Palak Patta Chaat, all items rated a perfect 10. Moong Dal Khichadi and Lassoni Palak Khichadi were a first time for me and I'm happy to have tried them. Must add that the Paneer Butter Masala Rice Bowl is a complete meal in itself. Chola Bhatura, Samosa Chaat and Raj Kachori as usual were delectable. Ras Malai capped the experience very well.
