Visit this place if you love authentic Kolhapuri non-veg food.

Location : Bang on road. Easily to locate & noticeable. But there is no dedicated parking lot. You need to park your car across road.

Ambiance : It has basement as well as ground floor. We chose basement. It was adequately lit up. With amost 12-15 tables. Interior gives you a feeling of an economical restaurant. (Note: There is no wasroom at this restaurant)

Crowd : When we entered, it was jam packed. You may have to wait to come your turn.

Food : We ordered MuttonThali & Kolhapuri Mutton. Mutton Thali was a plain simple Thali with Mutton Dish, Pandhara Tambada Rassa, Bhakari & Jeera Rice. (Mutton Fry quantity was adequate for 1 person.) Mutton was very soft & tender and equally tasty. Tambda rassa was just mind blowing. Kolhapuri Mutton Fry was tasty too but it was a spicy version of Mutton Fry.

Rates : Very Reasonable. (But surprisingly they charge Rs. 20 for extra Lemon, Onion)

We had heard from a lot of people that the food from this restaurant is pretty good. However, one star is too much of a review for this. We order one mutton thali and one egg masala thali. there was absolutely nothing in the mutton thali that would cost 310 rs. the pieces had absolutely no flesh. there was just one kind of curry. we had to ask for the second roti as if it wasnt already included in the thali. the rice was undercooked. the pandhra rassa isnt included in the egg masala thali which makes no sense. the wash basin isnt clean. the tables arent clean. the waiters pay no attention. the toothpicks are random sticks they have placed on the registration desk. the entrance to the dining area gives a clear view of the kitchen which is unclean as well. no finger bowls provided for washing hands. no tissues at the registration desk. no proper lighting in the dining area, feels as if it's a bar. no idea how people find this restaurant and its...

Visited for dinner with my family👪 but I had worst experience with service. Quality is okay okay. 1)I ordered mutton plate, mutton fry was tastey but waiter didn't give extra Pandhara Rassa when asked. 2)He told extra charges Rs. 25/bowl for rassa. 3)He was alone serving to 35people so you can image the kind of service we have received. 4)Hotel is overpriced but service and taste is extremely poor. Exactly opposite to other restaurants like Kranti Bhojnalay, Patil Wada etc where price is reasonable and service is also very good. 5) Wash Basin is set up in such a way that you can't stand in front of it and wash your hands. No lights put near washbasin. 6) No mouth freshner/saunf offered after billing. Overall worst experience in hotel. Go for other options like Kranti Bhojnalay Or Patil...
