Hotel Celebration Lavasa-Hotel in Lavasa — Restaurant in Maharashtra

We were at Lavasa this weekend and stayed at Mercure. The hospitality which we experienced at this hotel was out of this world. Awesome. From the bottom to the top level, all the staff is just top-notch. They greet you with smiles every time and ever ready at your service.

Mercure is a mid-scale brand of Accor Hotels that offers world class standards, distinctive hospitality and services. The brand is spread all across the world with 750 hotels in 51 countries, each having its unique prepositions. Mercure is located in the picturesque serene Sayadhari Hills.

Lavasa is really a beautiful city and the hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the city. Everything is at 5-minute walking distance. They also provide complementary coupons for usage of gym and swimming pool at the Dasvino club which is a central recreation area of Lavasa. They were also providing 20% discount coupons if you want to use spa at the club.

Coming to the room, it was spacious and had a marvellous view of the city and mountains. All the basic amenities were provided in the room. We didn't even need to call the reception for anything in those 2 days. All the things like AC, Television etc. were in top condition.

They have a fine dine restaurant and a bar in the premises. They have a lunch and dinner buffet at 500 (taxes extra) rupee each. Buffet breakfast is also available with limitless options. Full day a-la-carte menu is also available in the restaurant which has indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful view. Food is just awesome. They also have their own garden and a little vegetable farm at the backside. Some activities for children as well. My kiddo didn't want to come back home, he just wanted to stay there!

This is the only property around the main centre which is running with all the departments up. Rest of all - Fortune Select (closed) and The Waterfront Shaw (only stay, kitchen closed) are running short of something or the other. This is located around 500 metres from the main centre and offers decent stay. Welcome was good, Check in was smooth, rooms were spacious and clean, well maintained, all the facilities in the room were in working condition. Service was relatively quick, they've a decent manpower deployed. Staff is courteous. Regarding the facilities in the property, they've covered parking in the basement for around 10-15 cars which is on first come first serve basis, rest of the cars can be parked at the ramp or around the property. Security is adequate. One indoor play area with TT, carrom and chess. There was a nicely curated lawn at the backside of the property too. Food is too costly. OTA sold us room only package and breakfast was being charged at Rs.450 plus taxes pp. There were ample options around for food which we opted to choose. ||Overall a very good experience. However, property should have more recreational activities inside since Lavasa has been now reduced to charmless destination with almost nothing to do outside. |Few negative aspects to note for Hotel Celebration:|- Extraordinary food price|- They allow guests to smoke right in front of the entrance lobby.
