Hotel Gokul — Restaurant in Maharashtra

UNEXPECTED... Never thought that the situation will make me to give 1 Star to this restaurant. I'm (was) regular customer for this restaurant, and this was my first visit after they renewed the interior (SEPTEMBER 2023). In fact, I realized that they have not only changed the interior, but the staff too. I saw all new faces today. I myself feel very unfortunate to give 1 star to Gokul Restaurant. But, I want to be very frank with viewers. Had a Misal paav. Completely testless. No sprouts at all which is a speciality of Kolhapuri Misal. But now I can say, if you want to try the worst Misal Pav, then you can visit here. NO TASTE. The next dish was - Kurma Puri. Again, No taste... Salt, Spices and the sense of veggies... They rested in peace... NO TASTE.. Tea and Coffee - The Gokul has now lost their signature in Tea and Coffee as well. It was completely watery. If you go roadsite tea stall, that will taste better than this one. NO TASTE... Coming to service, the earlier staff was very concerned and have the attitude of hospitality. The current staff (September 2023) is kind of rude. No attention over guests requirements. It made me to remind the service person upon the order for almost four times as he was always forgetting it. The person who was taking the orders was also not much good in communication. Again, It FAILED here too. Now, Ambience...,, In the name of renewation, they have spoiled the things. They have increased the number of seats, but,,,... They have adjusted a few seats in pillars which makes you to feel very congusted and uncomfortable. FAILED here too.

The conclusion is, you may see a good photos of dishes on review walls with overrated content. But, personally for me, Gokul Restaurant of Kolhapur is now more than worst. No Taste, No Proper Service, No Hospitality, NOTHING. Just NOTHING. I always used to visit here for breakfast and lunch in ealier days. But on this day, after looking at the experience of my breakfast, I just switched my decision of lunch and moved to different restaurant. We pay with good expecatations. But if we are not getting what we expect, then it's dead investment. So please be careful before you visit this restaurant. IF incase, you are ready to compromise with whole stuff, then it's your choice.
