we had gone to kolhapur for a 3 day trip and booked this hotel on booking.com.|Location of the hotel is easy to find in Shahupuri.|Hotel rooms are new comparatively so they are good .|when we went most of the rooms were empty . The difference between standard and delux rooms was only the cable TV . There are no ceiling fans . Only wall fans . Bed and Linen was clean though .|Room furniture is Ok with basic amenities and clean toilets and bathrooms. Parking is available .|The real hitch is the room service and food quality . Room service nearly does not exist so it scores poor in service . |Morning tea is available after 8.30 which is nightmare . we had plans to move out of the hotel at 9 am after breakfast but the restaurant starts at 8,30 . Breakfast is very basic single dish of their choice .Taste is average. Tea is served in different different small small cups which is mostly cold. As per the staff they had only one small thermos which was used to serve tea to everybody in the hotel. ( how funny ).|Later when i contended they showed me a form on which they had taken my signature mentioning that room service will start only after 8.30 and breakfast will be of their choice . we literally went to a neighboring place at 6 .30 am where a man brings his tempo and serves hot tea /coffee along with fresh hot idli and vadas .( which was obviously better option ) In the afternoon we went to their restaurant for lunch . The person confused with soups . we got the wrong soup. when we told them we had ordered minestrone soup , he took the soup back and after 2 mins brought a horrible so called minestrone soup which was literally made adding water to tomato soup with vegetable shreds .|we ordered 2 veggie dishes which tasted exactly the same . overall bad experience .|During check out the man prepared the bill which when i checked properly , the software was doing wrong calculation with regards to taxes . So i request all the guest to be careful while settling the bills . please check the bill and do calculations manually with calculator . We chose delux rooms with TV but one room did not have set top box which we later denied for fixing . Still the hotel made us pay the entire amount . I would say it is a LOOT .|Prices of food items are high compared to the quality which is served .||overall not a good experience...
