We had a decent experience. We went in afternoon 12:15 something where there was not a lot of rush.
Good things Great food: the kulcha had a lot of til seeds. I would definitely recommend butter kulcha over a butter roti. The paneer pieces were huge. We ordered Paneer Masala. The Gobi Manchurian tasted amazing. Decent Atmosphere: there were yellow lightings and our table was at the wall. There was perfect amount of privacy yet it felt spacious. Complimentary Paan Shot: You can see the picture. The shot was nice.
Bad Things 1.No clean Plates: the plates were not properly cleaned when they gave us. My mom did not bother telling them, but do make sure you ask them for clean plates if you get the ones with some dust in them. 2.Not the best service: the servers did not seem interested at all. Although they did not make any mistakes in taking orders, it seemed they really didn't want to be there. Kind of ruined the mood. 3.Food: we ordered a Cream of Mushroom soup. Although it tasted good, they added a lot of water in the milk so the soup was very thin. The paneer sabji was not as spicy as I had expected. They literally said that the sabji would be spicy.
Overall, I would go there to eat again if I want to eat something fancier than...
Read moreHotel Pavner is a pure vegetarian restaurant that delivers a delightful dining experience with high-quality food and a pleasant ambiance. The setting is warm and inviting, making it an excellent place for a relaxed meal with family or friends.
The food is the highlight, prepared with fresh ingredients and offering rich flavors. The menu includes a variety of vegetarian dishes, from traditional Indian delicacies to popular continental options. Each dish is well-cooked and maintains a high standard of taste and presentation.
The ambiance adds to the overall experience, featuring comfortable seating, elegant decor, and a peaceful atmosphere. It's a great spot for casual outings or small celebrations.
However, the service needs improvement. While the staff is polite and welcoming, the waiting time for food is longer than expected. Even during less busy hours, orders take time, which can be frustrating for diners. A quicker service system would enhance the overall experience significantly.
Overall, Hotel Pavner is a great choice for vegetarian food lovers who appreciate a serene ambiance. If you don’t mind a bit of waiting, the quality of food makes it worth visiting. Faster service would make it...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant located in a busy market locality in Kolhapur. There is limited two wheeler parking on the ground floor and street parking in front of the building. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and has access through a lift. However wheelchair accessibility might be an issue as there are stairs which lead to the lift. The ambience is good and the restaurant is a nice place for dinner or lunch with a small group or family. Tables are well spaced and the staff is attentive.
One thing about Kolhapur is that almost all good restaurants will have quality service from the orders to serving, finger bowl. All was good here too. The restaurant was not crowded inspite of a prediwali Sunday noon. There were atleast two or three empty tables. So I don't think availability of tables might be an issue. However the food I ordered took 10-15 mins for preparation. The food seemed slightly overpriced. One dish will usually be enough for two people. The taste was good. They accept cards as well as UPI. It's a pure vegetarian...
