During my recent visit to Hotel Shriyash, I had one of the most satisfying seafood experiences in the area. Known for serving authentic coastal flavors, this restaurant impressed me on almost every front — from the taste to the service and ambiance.
We began our culinary journey with the Paplet Masala Fry, a dish that truly delivered in terms of flavor and freshness. The pomfret was marinated in a rich blend of spices, perfectly pan-fried with a crisp texture on the outside and tender meat inside. Most importantly, the fish had no smell — a key sign of its freshness.
Moving to the main course, we ordered the Tawa Surmai Thali, which was the highlight of the meal. The thali came with a generous piece of surmai, well-cooked and delicious. The rassa (fish curry) served alongside was bursting with flavor — warm, spicy, and comforting. It paired beautifully with the rice, which was soft and well-prepared. Every element of the thali felt thoughtfully made and true to coastal traditions.
We also tried their Prawns Biryani, which was another hit. The prawns were cooked just right — tender and juicy — and the biryani had a wonderful aroma with balanced spices that didn’t overpower the natural flavor of the seafood.
The ambiance of the place was clean and pleasant, making it suitable for both families and friends. The service was also good — attentive and polite. As with many popular restaurants, there was a 15–20 minute wait for the food, but considering the freshness and quality, it felt absolutely worth it.
Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for any seafood lover. It offers a perfect combination of great taste, reasonable pricing, and a comforting atmosphere. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreWow !! It was great as we entered the hotel. The structure and design made it look real good. As we entered in the atmosphere made me feel good though. Entering the family room the lights made the mood and the wooden furniture was of a kind. Sitting arrangements made it so comfortable . Tho the menu card was what didn't match the one. Talking about service it was good enough. Let's come to the food, it s better said a place for non vegetarian people. With very less options for us vegetarian. Well the food taste so good. Also must try the special indrayani rice which actually made it enough to complete our dinner. It's a place of a kind make sure u visit with ur frnds...
