Sitai Resto & Lounge — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Yesterday, I visited Sitai Resto & Lounge for dinner with my wife, and unfortunately, the experience was not what we had hoped for.

We started with Paneer Lababdaar and butter roti. Since my wife enjoys spicy food, I specifically requested that the dish be prepared with some heat. However, it arrived overly sweet and lacking any spice. To make matters worse, we had to ask for the plate of onions and lemon, which should have been served with the meal.

Dissatisfied with the first dish, I ordered both vegetable biryani and chicken dum biryani for us to share. The wait for these dishes felt like an eternity. The vegetable biryani was particularly disappointing; the rice portion was inadequate compared to the vegetables, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. I expected a better ratio of rice to veggies.

As for the chicken dum biryani, while the rice was good and the portion decent, the chicken pieces were tough and chewy. There were only three pieces, and they resembled rubber more than tender chicken. The only highlight was the raita, which we enjoyed.

Overall, the food felt overpriced given the quality and service. While I understand that Sitai operates as a lounge and bar, that shouldn’t compromise the dining experience for families. The long wait times and the attentiveness of the staff are areas that need improvement.

This is one of the best Bar and Restaurant in this area. Test and Quality of food is excellent. Service is very nice. Ambience is excellent. There are lot of different varieties of veg / Non-Veg food available. Paneer and other vegetables are fresh. Inside and outside seating's are available. Washroom is neat and clean. Big bar counter is available. Almost all type of liquor is present. One of the best part of this restaurant is singer is available on the weekends. Singing old song and also sing your song on demand.

@Cost - it is little bit higher side compare to other hotels in this area. But considering quality and test it is ok. The quantity of food is quite good. Average 1300/- Rs for 2 person with kid.

@ Parking - Ample of Parking is available.

It is crowded in the evening and on the weekends. Generally 30 min waiting time .

Parcel and online service is present. All time of payments...

The service is exceptionally clumsy. 5 mins waiting time to just get the menu, as they are understaffed.

Ordered veg crispy, fish fingers and rozali kabab which was apparently the speciality of the day.

Veg crispy was not crispy at all and felt like it was cooked a while back and they just re-fried and served. On raising the concern the waiter just smiled and said "it's Sunday so the kitchen might have neglected, I will check". Not sure how this is an acceptable answer.

The speciality of the day i.e. rozali kabab was just bland, edible but surely not what you would expect.

The fish fingers were the only good dish for us. Guess they had made it fresh.

Also they don't have a dedicated wash basin, if you want to wash your hands before having food, wash them at home. The washbasin there is just...
