Hotel Suraaj Veg Court — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Food is too good, pure veg restaurant and if you want some tasty food, this is the place in Satara. Pocket friendly, provides quick service so you need to wait for hardly 5mins for your food. Few points to consider here, Little tiny place so at a time can accommodate 100 persons, They have enough parking space, Parcel and catering service is not provided, so you can dine in and take away your parcels. Outside food not allowed, High chair is not available but can provide cradle for baby. But the place is must visit if you want different yet...

I travel a lot between Pune and kolhapur, and this time I had the misfortune of eating at Suraj. Food was either totally bad (e.g. sweetcorn soup), or very oily. The guy who took the order was not really interested in his job, but the waiters were ok. Service was slow and there was a lot of yelling going on all the time. The guy at the counter seemed to be busy talking to his friends ans rather aloof.

This may be a good place for some (atleast as per the reviews) but its certainly not a place for those who understand food. I would strongly reccomend...

Bad service and food quality,non edible thing found in served dish. The breadcrumbs in tomato soup looked staled. They served wrong item... Service was slow(restaurant was not even 50 Percent occupied) and Worst part was there was burnt match stick in sizzler served to my brother.. When we informed to owner/cashier at front desk- he had no regret of the mistake... Very arrogant reply and atitude. If there was option to give minus rating I would have done that.

I'm reducing the ratings to zero.
