Got served with Chicken cheese chili sandwich instead of cheese chili sandwich.
I had the most horrific experience at Kannu ki chai yesterday . The person who was taking order was so out of his mind in way that- A sandwhich Being advertised as Cheese chilli GRILLED sandwich, was kept non grilled in the section wher they advertise as to how this food looks and comes . Then upon confirming if this comes as grilled he says no. Then i showed him the menu card .he still couldn't just read the GRILLED word. Upon showing him that its written he then agrees that we can have a cheese chili grilled sandwich.
After long long waiting hours. No one on earth can guess what he served us. He served us CHICKEN cheese chili grilled sandwich. Me and my friend are pure vegetarian since birth, and we ate that sandwhich until i realised that why is there a mushroom like stuff. Then i took that piece out still trying to figure what it is . I sensed something wierd and asked that person..and he said its chicken. Then he himself says but noo. You ordered veg.. so its not chicken . Then i asked whats it is then. Nd he started saying sorry.
I didnt create any scene because i was soo shocked and almost on the verge of crying. My friend on the other hand...had to throw up.. i decently asked for a fulll refund to which he is just refunding me the price of the sandwhich.. then i told him .i need a FULL refund. As we still didnt finish what we had ordered and obviously the experience we had demanded more than a full refund. This was the horrible experience. I have decided not to go to any of their...
Read morekannu ki chai is a great place to hang with friends and just chill. And is always bustling with varied groups of people ranging from collegians to the senior citizens out for a quick cuppa. Absolutely love the concept of it. Also, it is open till 7am at night. So now you know where you need to go to kill your hunger pangs the next time. :P It’s a perfect spot if you want to go for a casual work discussion/hang with friends or bae/chill by yourself/go on an eating spree. It’s super cosy plus it has a bunch of songs too. And you have the options to either sit inside in the air conditioning or outside amidst the greenery or on the tebals under the stars at night. The staff is also very cordial and ever ready to help you. And the guy who manned the kannu ki chai when I visited, to tahir bro and hasmukh was a total sweetheart. Greeted me with a smile on his face. Things like these completely uplift your experience. This time I tried the Jam Muska Bun paired with the kulhad adrak chai. Both were super yum. Even tried the cheese maggi which was just average along with the super delish cold coffee. 💯recommended. You’ve got to visit at least once, even if its just to sip away on the kulhad chai under the...

Whether you’re looking for a peaceful tea break or a long chat session, the ambience makes it an enjoyable experience. The only downside is the pricing—one regular chai costs around 50 rupees, which is quite high compared to other local tea spots. The food items too are on the expensive side, so it might not be a place for everyday visits. However, it’s definitely a good option for occasional outings or when you want to treat yourself to a nice tea session in a...
