I had heard a lot about this place, especially their famous misal, and as a food lover, I was eager to try it out. However, my recent visit left me feeling quite disappointed. Despite all the hype, the misal failed to impress with all fancy items.

Let’s start with the good stuff—the ambiance was fantastic! The place had a welcoming vibe, clean interiors, and great service. The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the overall dining experience. But, unfortunately, the main reason I went there—the misal—didn't live up to expectations.

The tarri (spicy gravy) lacked the depth of flavor that defines a good misal. It was spicy, but the richness and balance of spices just weren't there. The farsan was fresh, but it couldn’t save the dish from feeling bland and uninspired. Even the sprouted beans, which should have added a bit of texture and flavor, seemed lackluster.

It felt like the dish was missing that punchy, authentic flavor that makes misal so special. I was expecting a burst of spices and a good heat balance, but instead, it came off as one-dimensional and flat.

It’s disappointing because the service and ambiance were top-notch, but when the star dish falls short, it’s hard to overlook that. I hope they take the feedback seriously and work on elevating the taste of their misal, because with everything else going for them, the food needs to match the high...

Hey kolhapuri folks Just came kolhapur for few days for office work and wanted to try the famous Kolhapuri misal And you know I found this Kolhapuri wada misal one of the best in town. The overall ambience was so good ,you would definitely feel Kolhapuri traditional arrangements. The way they present their misal thali, spicy cum taste and it's overall presentation was fabulous. One of the best misal I ever had, I would say it's best misal in kolhapur.

Wada misal is not a just restaurant they are far beyond it because when they saw me while working they provided me and my friend a working space from this I came to know owner humbleness and their helpfulness. Staff is very polite as far as service is concerned. For 5 days I daily did my office work almost for 2hrs while eating misal and my experience was so good can't be expressable .
