I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mahadev Patiswala in Pimpri Chinchwad, and I must say that it was a delightful experience. This small bakery shop is tucked away in a bustling neighborhood, and it offers a wide variety of mouth-watering pastries and snacks that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
First and foremost, the quality of the baked goods at Mahadev Patiswala is exceptional. The pastries are fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From classic options like chocolate eclairs and cream-filled doughnuts to more innovative creations, the range of choices is impressive. Each item is made with care, using high-quality ingredients that truly shine through in every bite.
One of the highlights of my visit was the service at Mahadev Patiswala. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the products they offer. They were more than happy to answer my questions and make recommendations based on my preferences. Their warm and welcoming approach added to the overall positive experience.

Β Β Β Read moreMahadev Patiswala in Pimpri has been a cherished part of my life since childhood. Their dal pakwan, a Sindhi breakfast delicacy, has been a constant delight. The crispy pakwan paired with flavorful chana dal, topped with tangy tamarind chutney and finely chopped onions, creates a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. This dish is available during morning hours, making it a perfect start to the day.
In the evenings, the menu transitions to offerings like ragda pattice. The aloo tikki, shaped uniquely, is crisp on the outside and soft inside, served with a medley of chutneys that enhance its flavor profile. Accompanying this savory treat, their gulab jamun stands out as an epitome of dessert perfection. Served warm, these soft, melt-in-the-mouth sweets are infused with a subtle rose essence, making them irresistible.
Despite its modest size and limited seating, the establishment maintains a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is courteous, ensuring prompt service even during peak hours. However, due to its location in the bustling Pimpri market near Sai Chowk, parking can be a challenge, especially for four-wheelers. It's advisable to visit during off-peak times or opt for two-wheelers.
Over the years, Mahadev Patiswala has consistently delivered in terms of taste and quality. Whether you're a long-time patron or a first-time visitor, the culinary experience here is bound to leave a...
Β Β Β Read moreThis place is overhyped. we drove all the way from Punawale to Pimpri just following that youtube golgappa girl lady who my wife adores. This place is supposed to be someone unique in Pimpri which serves delicious DAL PAKWAN, samosa chole and Gulab Jamun. I would rate the place poorly overall given the hygiene. Leave the hygiene aside, I have eaten at far more unhygienic places at a comparable cost, but the taste is not at all worth mentioning. I did understand why this place is jam-packed with people from all walks of life. Maybe I am not evolved to the Sindhi palette. So, we went for the samosa chole, I was disappointed again. I was expecting a chaat like treat, but what came to me was a bland chana-sabzi and a cold-hearted samosa. Finally, we thought of wrapping it up with desert, but to our surprise, the Jamuns were tender, but tasted oddly sweet and felt like they were made of something different. The taste was pleasantly confusing but the essence was a major putoff. Overall, my experience was moderate. I tried three things from their limited menu, but came out unsatisfied and wanting more. The three stars can be justified for the moderately priced menu. Besides, it would be blasphemous to go below that rating for such an iconic...
