Ginger Pune Pimpri — Hotel in Maharashtra

I personally had to stay there because through company portal my top priorities of hotel in Chinchwad was declined due to full packed and this was nearest left to my office.

Now, this was though my 3rd stay in Ginger Pimpri, and i am very certain to not to recommend this.

Whatever I have written below in comparison to other Hotels I have stayed at in Pune.

Firstly, they don't really leverage the fare for early check in even with tied up companies. Even if you pay after 6 am, you won't get the complimentary below average breakfast, which in comparison to a hotel like Noorya at lower price than this avails a great mean in the morning.

Secondly, the rooms, though for a single person it is okay, but stil they are quite small. Not to forget the washroom, which is like, the start and the end is the same of it.

Third, the basic amenities does not work effectively, from the phone they have in the room to the shower gel dispenser in washroom.

Fourth, in every stay I have found a new face at the reception in one year and only a couple may be out of a team of 6 people have the courtesy to have a gentle smile on their face and greet the guest.

After writing all this don't think am against the brand itself, I have stayed at Ginger in other cities like Bhubaneswar, and their hospitality is something I still remember.

The one good thing I like is the behavior of their restaurant staff. Very gentle, composed and humble while feeding the guest. If I have to take a name for the good deed, Vikram and Shubham for that matter.

Located in a very good place. Walkable distance to metro and RTC stop. But the hygienic standards are questionable. Rooms are not well maintained. The bedsheets smell unhygienic. Switches are partly broken and the refrigerator does not work. Luke warm shower only. Door lock is tricky. The card sometimes does not open the room door. Have to try multiple times. Only 1 lift with max 4 passengers at a time.

Breakfast is complimentary and again there is only limited option buffet for breakfast. Don't expect high quality. It's just ok. Also you have to mention your room number twice or thrice to them. I personally felt embarrassed when three people asked me for my room number. Two people while I'm having my breakfast. 1 person while I'm having coffee.

No buffet option for lunch. You have to order the food from the menu provided. Again, if there is no crowd, they will not even turn on the AC. I kept sweating throughout my lunch session but they did not bother even after i asked.

Their standards are not upto the mark. The hospitality they offer should be compelling us to come back to their hotel. But sadly they are the only 2 star hotel in that particular area. So we do not have much of an option anyway. So their standards are applied...

I stayed just a week back ie 3rd weekend of December. The booking was done 3 months in advance with double bed + extra bed. Really disappointed. I was looking forward to stay in Ginger as i had a good stay in Ginger Madgaon Goa. But in Pimpri it was really disappointing.

1. No board on the main road which can tell us where the hotel is.
2. On reaching the place, we got twin sharing bed only . The double bed was given to another marriage party which had come. On checking with manager he said all rooms are occupied. That was very unprofessional. Because we too had 10 rooms booked in the hotel .
3. Intercom not working. Couldn't order anything from the room and had to go to the restaurant.
4. Stay was for 2 nights but the next day rooms were not cleaned till 3PM. Had to tell them 2-3 times to clean the room and i got the response that first preference is given to the people who are going to check in next. So those rooms they need to keep ready before the already existing people in the hotel .
5. Even after cleaning the rooms, fresh towels were not provided. Had to wait another 4-5 hours for it,
6. Breakfast was very ordinary. not much varieties.
