Used to be good place for food when it was newly started. Recently my entire family faced food infection twice after ordering and eating their malai chaap.
Edit: Sir, let me know if you have any accurate method to identify which was the food which became the reason to make the stomach upset. I followed intuition like we do by retrospection what we eat and from where it was brought. Moreover, Like I mentioned, it happened twice so naturally this is what I am suspecting.
When you ask and I quote: “how is that we don't have any other complaint(s) for chaap...considering that we make it so utterly bad…????” Do people always keep giving feedback as soon as they have any bad experience? Many times customer does it to ignore the situation and try another food joint. Myself have ordered countless time from your food venture and not always faced this situation.
I understand as business owner it's important to defend and get to facts however, its weird to hear that the probable reasons were not considered which can sometimes cause food freshness go away. maybe it was summer and chaap was made/prepared few hours earlier? May be others might not have ordered on the same time as I did? Human errors may happen- no big deal! Its really sad that rather then retrospecting what could have possibly gone wrong, defending becomes priority.
PS it was minor issue of upsetting stomach and like you mentioned, can’t prove it was due to only Punjab canteen food. Hence, changing the rating to 5 starts!! Thumbs UP for...

Panjab Canteen presents a mixed bag of experiences, with some highs and lows. While the ambiance exudes charm and warmth, creating an inviting atmosphere, the culinary offerings fail to live up to expectations. Despite tempting Google photos depicting delectable dishes and impeccable presentation, the reality is quite different. The stuffed aaloo paratha lacks flavor, and the accompanying raita and subji are surprisingly plain, leaving much to be desired in terms of taste. It's evident that the visual appeal doesn't translate into culinary excellence.
Moreover, the limited parking space on a small road corner often leads to frustrating traffic jams, detracting from the overall dining experience. This issue is particularly bothersome during peak hours, causing significant inconvenience to customers who drive. The lack of sufficient parking adds a layer of stress that detracts from the enjoyment of the meal.
To add to the disappointment, the prices of food items are higher than expected, making it difficult to justify the lackluster taste and limited parking. For the premium prices, one would expect a higher standard of culinary delight and more convenience. If you prioritize ambiance and are willing to overlook taste and parking challenges, Panjab Canteen might be worth a visit. However, if you seek a satisfying culinary experience at reasonable prices with convenient parking, consider exploring other dining options...
Read moreWe ordered dinner just sometime back from this place. If you don’t want to waste your money please don’t order from this place. We ordered their bestseller paneer which is not even near ordinary taste. We ordered butter chapati. Chapatis taste so horrible. It’s bitter in taste.the flour they used for chapatis is either of worst if quality or way too old to be used. They charged 1000 rupees just for one plate curry, 5 butter chapatis and 2 garlic naan and Patiyala lassi. Do you guys even know what is Patiyala lassi is? You first go and learn. You sold me a curd packet with some sugar of cost 48-50 rupees for 200. What a business! For some it might not sound expensive but honestly if you go to a road side stall you will find tasty food and much more hygienic and good quality materials being used and they will server you for much lesser. Such...
