Located near Dmart, Tarabai Park, Kolhapur. This place has a lot of options for you in typical Maharashtrian dishes like Misal. It offers you a special ' Shiv Misal' which is its speciality. The special dish includes ' 1 plate Misal, Solkadhi(Buttermilk),Dahi, Tatti (spicy curry) and Kolhapuri chutney. It is a one meal dish. Along with the special dish you could always have a sober 'The Classic Misal'. Man it does tastes good. I am fond of good food. That's why I'm sharing this. You should give it a try. "It is a branch of the Original Shiv Misal" The atmosphere is really quite pleasant the birds chirping makes you feel good around there, the place is actually like a small food court in itself in the evenings. The service was good and was quick, there was no haste as such. I also did order the Special Shiv Misal and liked it would recommend...

Today After College, We All Decided to Go Out For Breakfast.. And it was Decided to Have Misal.. So We Headed Out and Came Across this Place Shiv Misal.. I must say the misal i tried here was so delicious.. The place is Small and its always occupied.. But the Service is Reallyy Fast..

The People who work there were really kind to us. They also recommend to have sukhi Misal which i had Never Tried.. Even that Tasted Awesome with Onion N Some dice of Lemon.

I am not a big fan of Misal.. But After Eating this Misal i was so amazed to have that Shiv Misal.. one of best misal ever tried..

Quantity is Quite Good Enough over the Price.. Which Everyone Can Afford.. The Best Place For All Misal Lovers..

For Sure i am Going to Visit This Place Again...

While this misal tastes good, i believe this is slightly spicy for a kolhapuri misal. I am a misal lover and i can eat spicy dishes. But i strongly believe misal is not famous for being spicy. Individuals can like spicy misal. But i think misal should be light on chillies and heavy on whole spices. And it has to have a unique taste other than being just spicy. So i think there is room for improvement in the taste of 'Katt'.

But otherwise the preparation is very good. Cleanliness is good. Service is good and fast. The staff is very friendly and polite. And in my personal opinion this misal has potential to get much better than this. i wish them all the best. I will keep...
