Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Had a very bad experience with the Starbucks Manager at this location by the name Vivek. We were a family of 4 ppl traveling to pune and stopped here for a coffee. We had a senior citizen with us of 80 years of age and to help her sit comfortably and eat along with the coffee we purchased there, we brought some food from McDonald's.

We did check with a female employee who said it's ok that we can have the meal there as we had the senior citizen with us. Just as we had taken the 1st bite of our food this employee who claimed to be the supervisor by the name of Vivek, came and very rudely told us that we have to leave as outside food is not allowed. We informed him about the senior citizen and that we did ask prior but he in a very angry and rude manner kicked us out of the place with all the other customersin the cafe gazingst us it was a very embarrassing situation since he was shouting. When we asked him why he was doing so to a senior citizen, he said it's company policy so rest of the family along with their food has to leave and the senior citizen can eat alone (which she could not manage anyways without making a complete mess of the place).

Not wanting to get into a stand off we left but we left with a very appalling experience that left a very bitter memory about Starbucks Indias customer service at this location.

Being a Gold level customer if we get such kind of treatment I wonder what kind of treatment is meted out to other 1 time customers.

Would give a 0 star unfortunately the system allows only as low as 1 star.

I recently stopped by the Starbucks outlet in Khopoli, Maharashtra, located conveniently in a food court on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

Timely Service We arrived at 7 AM, and I was impressed that the store was already open and ready to serve. The staff was welcoming and efficient, getting our orders ready quickly.

Food and Beverage Review We opted for the freshly brewed Americano and Cold Coffee, both of which hit the spot perfectly. The Americano was rich and full-bodied, while the Cold Coffee was refreshing and smooth. To accompany our drinks, we also tried the Cheese Chili Toast, which was absolutely delicious. The combination of melted cheese, spicy chili, and crispy toast was a perfect match for our morning coffee.
