The Regent — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Test is ok but it is not good at all if someone is willing to enjoy food along with friends or relatives or family as a get together because this hotel is meant for having food only you can not sit there for long and have chat. They protocol based on how much is your bill the time you can sit.

This incident happened with us just yesturday. We friend after 16 years of gap wanted to meet on dinner hence decided to go to veg hotel. We choose this hotel considering We will get place to have food and chat. We had dinner and we were gossiping then hotel manager came and said you can not sit for a long time and you bill is not that much. He polite said it but we had not expected such thing because hardly there were few customers and most of the tables were vacant. We paid bill and asked manager to give use hotel management contact details like email to raise our concern but he didn't. We spoke with manager how much we should make bill so that we can extend our chat as he was telling they have some protocol. We said we will paynthat much or order that much food, the manager said that you can't do that too. I do respect him because he was as a staff he can't change if its from management. I visited this hotel for the first time and when we were having dinner i was thinking i should come with my family or relatives for lunch or dinner but due to incident occurred i decided not visit this hotel otherwise if we visit with family or relatives, the hotel staff we not think for a seconds to insult in front of relatives to say that sir your bill is not much hence you have to leave hotel. am unable to give a negative rating, so I'm giving 1 star. I have ordered grilled sandwich and aloo paratha from regent on swiggy platform and i got very worst experience.

If you are charging ₹295 from customers, including additional charges, and failing to provide good service, quality food, or proper packaging, then it's better to lock the doors of your hotel.

Packaging: The packaging was extremely poor. Simply wrapping the food in paper does not constitute good packaging. Food Quality: The food quality was awful. For an aloo paratha, you should at least offer pickle or raita. Instead, you provided curd that had clearly been stored in the fridge for 3-4 days. IF U WANT TO HAVE A GOOD MEAL AND QUALITY TIME -NEVER GO TO THIS RESTUARANT.

First of all we asked the waiter if they have filtered water ,he said no.(It is must for resturants to provide filtered drinking water to the customers .)

Then We ordered food and packaged water bottle -masala papad was the worst I ate till now Also the Veg kolhapuri taste was not good at all neither was plain Naan or butter naan Overall very expensive compared to other restuarants

But they charged Rs 35 for Pacakeged water bottle (Aquafina-Mrp only 20 Rs) . I asked the resturant why are they charging so much ,they said it's resturants charges,it's clearly looting people .And they literally forced me to pay 35 Rs for water bottle and the staff and manager were very arrogant. I also saw similar reviews of overcharging for water bottle
