Arihant Misal ( Arihant Hotel ) — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I visited this place after a long time. Probably more than 4 years. I dont even remeber how my previous experience was. I haven't had a very good experience with Misal joints in Pune over the years. So I have naturally started to avoid them. I am a Kolhapurkar, so it can be said that we have a peculiar taste for Misal. And not many of the joints in Pune are able to meet our standards. You can call it a bias but thats how we are. Hope I have fiven a good context to establish the credibility of this review. Now, coming to the important bit, how was Arihant. It would say, I am definitely going to visit this place regularly from now. I personally liked their idea of adjusting the spiciness of misal. Unlike other joints where even medium is too spicy. This place had the perfect level of spice. You can tell them in advance and voila. And you can always add to the spice. Their service is very fast. Staff is very polite. Kept asking us for our feedback. The add ons of Buttermilk, curd, Solkadi are also available. They also have pav bhaji ani rice in their menu. Pav Bhaji was good. Prices are reasonable. Some points to consider when you visit here, you might have to wait for 10-15 mins since its always crowded. We were lucky this time. Got the table immediately. If you are taking the Car, you might struggle with parking. Roadside parking is available 100 meters...

Lot of vines are hanged on walls. Gods sitting arrangements which feels good and comfortable.

Food - if you are looking for some spicy misal so this is the place, here you will get lot of varieties as well as options to enjoy. We have tried misal and that was delicious. I would recommend this place.

Service - personally I feel service was good and fast, there was little bit waiting because this place is crowded. But they managed crowd really well. We didn’t faced delayed service here on that day

Costing - I feel some of the items are overcharged, as lot of places are providing unlimited option. So in this case I felt this is little bit overcharged. But if your appetite low then it will be same in cost with unlimited

Parking - there is no parking space available, we have to park vehicle road side, which is quite difficult for cars.

Overall this place is good you should visit this once.

SERVICE WAS PATHETIC also the Chaas we ordered was not good at all but Arihant Misal is famous for its delicious kolhapuri Misal pav. In Pimpari Chinchwad you can find many famous misal pav spots. I visited at Dange Chowk Arihant misal has included itself among those place due to its consistent tasty and spicy misal. You get choice of medium or spicy misal pav. Spicy type is having separtate spicy gravy bowl along with regular misal gravy. It’s truly awesome having this rassa with quality misal farsaan and butter roasted pav. This misal is very popular due to unique taste. The owner takes care of quality without compromising items used for the preparation. Along with misal you can have tasty south indian snacks like udid vada or idli sambar and regular pohe, upma and sabudana khichdi. In evening this place serve brilliant chat items, you can’t miss anything from bhel to shevpuri. Bhadang and farsaan bhel are very interesting.
