Myself with my family was on a holiday trip to Mumbai. While we planned a 2 Days stay at Navi Mumbai. From there we decided on a trip to Panvel. To our good luck we found one of the best restaurant WELCOME RESTAURANT located at the Old Mumbai Pune highway road. We reached there for lunch there was good decent space for family dine in. We happened to meet the restaurants owners son Mr.Zunoon Zubair (3rd Generation in business) who suggested us some great dishes like the Mutton Chaps, Bheja Fry, Indian Style Chilly Chicken, Butter Dal, Chicken Dry Fry, Variety of Naans, One of their signature Mutton Paya Soup. All the food which we tried was exceptional compared to the famous/Well known restaurants in Mumbai.

Mr.Zunoon Zubair not only suggested the great food for us, Also they made sure that they never compromised on their excellent service.

While having a chat with him we understand that this restaurant was opened in 1962 serving Great, Fresh & Hygiene food for more than 7 Decades.

A few of their dishes are cooked with wood fire grills, one among them being the Mutton Paya Soup, this could be the reason why the food tasted so good as wood fire grills are more authentic and flavorful.

Finally, we took parcel of their Maska Bun, Overall, the experience was simply awesome. This place is a must try if you are visiting Mumbai.
