Yesterday, we went to Nihal Corner Restaurant for dinner. We are regular customers of this place, but this time the experience was extremely disappointing. We asked for regular drinking water inside the AC dining area, but the manager refused and forced us to buy packaged water instead, charging us ₹25 for a bottle that has an MRP of only ₹20.
At any other restaurant, dhaba, or even a five-star hotel, you’re served regular water without any hesitation. I’m not sure if they’re trying to push their packaged water sales or if the business is struggling, but this is completely unfair to loyal customers.
Even last week when I visited, I asked for Maaza or Frooti, but they served a cheap local cold drink for ₹25, while its MRP was just ₹10. They are clearly mis-selling and overcharging customers, adding 40–50% extra on almost everything.
There’s no basic courtesy of offering clean regular water to loyal customers. If the regular water isn’t clean or safe to serve, then what’s the point of calling this a restaurant? People come to restaurants for decent service, a good ambience, and at least properly branded food and beverages. Unfortunately, this place offers none of these.
This restaurant clearly deserves a 0-star rating. I will never recommend...
Read moreThe Restaurant is located in Naya Nagar, walking distance from the station is around 8-10 mins. Also the restaurant knows for their low price and services. Also business people take parcel of tea from there. The palace is small but It has AC Family Hall also. Mostly there is no waiting "Q". The place is divided in 3 section. 1st open area for tea, coffee, Breakfast and food. 2nd inside small place for Non Ac and 3rd place is AC Family hall. Now come to quality and Quantity. Quality is good as per the rate. They should improve of gravy of main course for Nov Veg. Few main course test seem the same. Quantity is good as per their price. The management of Restaurant is good. There are co-operative. Only complaint is there are so much smoke of seek kabab items in evening. They...
Read moreI consider the restaurant as a street food corner. Not clean, in fact, I wouldn't recommend it. The prices, in comparison to other such places, is expensive. The only dish worth trying here are their Kababs, but spicy.
Beggars before you enter, while you're eating in their Frisco type outside eating area and on the way out. Expect, Flies, Mosquitoes, Roaches, Bugs and Rats infested. Filth is at it's peak. Food and over spiced but to be honest, I was last there in 2016 (for obvious reasons).
I would rather eat at street side restaurants than here.
I would give it half a star but, unfortunately, the option is not there. Even the only star I am giving it is for it's grilled Shish Kababs, but if spices are not your thing, stay...
