Vatika Garden Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Mira-Bhayander

Absolutely horrible experience! We visited this restaurant last night and specifically ordered only vegetarian food. We reminded the waiter four times to ensure everything was strictly vegetarian — yet, to our shock, we found chicken pieces in our dish!

As vegetarians, this was extremely upsetting and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, they also overcharged us by ₹400–₹500. When we called to report this, the manager on duty (Shubham) gave an absurd excuse, claiming we ourselves brought the chicken piece and added it to the dish! After that, he stopped responding to our calls.

Getting any sort of compensation was never the concern the issue is hygiene, honesty and respect for customers dietary beliefs.

This kind of negligence and behavior is beyond unprofessional — it’s deeply offensive to vegetarians and raises serious concerns about their kitchen hygiene and honesty.

We are deeply disappointed and will be taking further legal action against the restaurant for serving non-vegetarian food despite clear instructions and for their false accusations.

Vegetarians, please avoid this place...

Never visit - served non-veg in a veg order, manager lied & overcharged in bill.

We are lifelong vegetarians and clearly told the waiter multiple times (4–8 reminders) that our biryani must be vegetarian - including guests who do not eat onion/garlic. We were 17 of us. Mid-meal we discovered a piece of chicken in the veg biryani. This is a severe hygiene and religious violation. We complained to the manager who reacted with laughter, shrugged it off as “a mistake” and made light of the situation. That response was offensive and unprofessional.

To make matters worse, when we paid the bill we later discovered an extra ₹700–₹800 added without explanation. When we called the manager about the unauthorized charge today, he accused us of planting the chicken, refused to investigate, and told us to “do whatever you want.” This is blatant dishonesty and extremely disrespectful to customers.

Do not risk your health, religion or money here. I’m reporting this to consumer and food safety authorities and will be taking further action. If you value hygiene and basic honesty,...
