In Thakur Complex there are only few options to opt for good non-vegetarian food and Ambience is one of them. Earlier when I used to stay here in kandivali, It was my favourite spot to have some delicious north Indian food. • Ambience has indoor and outdoor seating and has large number of chairs and table both inside and outside to accommodate their customers. It has nice and simple decor with beautiful lightings. The service of this place is prompt and staff here is friendly and cooperative. • There were variety of dishes to choose from, We were served as under: Paneer Aalishaan: Huge pieces of paneer marinated with beet and cheese paste alternated with bell peppers, beautifully presented. It’s a tasty vegetarian delight.
Chicken Zaffrani: Roasted with a cream paste and yoghurt and added saffron for colour. A light appetiser with succulent chicken bites. My personal favourite from here.
Chicken Mint Dry: A Chinese starter which can also be termed are pudina chicken. However, the dish was a little bitter and lacked the essence of mint.
Chicken Lajawaab and Butter Kulcha: From the Indian kitchen having onion and tomato as the base for the gravy but, greatly dominated by vegetables than the chicken itself. I had to literally search for chicken in this so called Chicken dish. This was one of the disappointment. But, throwing light on the butter kulcha, I was glad I had it.
Blue Breezer: Litchi, lime juice and blue syrup are added with breezer to make a blue breezer. It was sweet just like a mocktail and the presentation could’ve been better. It served as coolant to me.
Mango Tango: A must during the summer season. Had high expectation but the mango pulp and milk were added with pineapple juice which for me, was a drawback. The texture was disturbed due to the pineapple juice. But, at the end something new to try.
Salty Dog: Not really a cocktail person but this cranberry juice and Gin when combined served me well. It had a cooling segment of mint and the edges were garnished with salt. So that when you take a sip you enjoy a salty Dog slip in your mouth. • If you’re looking for quick dine out and a spacious location Ambience’s ambience shall...

Me and my family often order from ambience but after today I will never order from the restaurant....ambience and the staff need to understand that they are not the only restaurant in Kandivali that serve North Indian food and hence need to treat their...
Read moreIt's true to it's name and thus keeps the ambience quiet subtle. This place offers a valet service which is the best option it offers,as finding a place to park your vehicle in Thakur complex is as good as finding a needle in the pool! About the food,I happened to order: Murgh tikka-This starters is recommended as they serve a perfect tandoor chicken with good amount of spice.
Veg amritsari-A mix of chopped vegetables and a thick slightly spicy gravy is the way it is made. One can consider ordering this dish when not in the mood to have anything in Paneer.
Prawns masala-This dish absolutely stole my heart.I ordered the red masala gravy to go with(note you can have a curry/malwani option also available for the gravy). The prawns pieces were perfectly cooked, tender, fresh and with the gravy offered,it made my main course very delightful!A must try.
I ordered butter rotis along with veg fried rice to complete the Indian cuisine package! A good dining place which serves authentic and tasty food along with friendly service is how I would like to describe this...
