BreadUp — Restaurant in Mumbai

Located in Galleria Powai. Place is clean, well-lit but not very spacious. They offer large variety of breads, puffs, croissants, sandwiches, cakes, pastries, tea/coffee etc. Concept is similar to theobrama and poetry both of whom are about 500 m away. Unlike theo and poe, this place does not offer a proper dine-in facility.

On both the occasions I visited, I tried their puffs and s/w. Price is reasonable. The stuffing inside the puffs was very less and the bread was not soft inspite of warming the food in a m/w. I had visited around noon both the times. Dont know whether I was served fresh stuff. Interestingly, they have put up a board/poster in the restaurant which reads "small batches, regular replenishment" or something similar.

The pastries, tiramisu, eclairs etc were all looking very tempting. However since they dont offer dine-in, the pricing appears to be expensive.

While making payment, I remember seeing a small board on the billing counter which said post 9 pm they offer breads, puffs and sandwiches...

Bread up bakery is a good place for anyone with a sweet tooth or love fresh-baked bread. It's very hard to resist their delicious pastries, puffs, croissants, and breads. The quality of their products is excellent and on point, also the taste is simply amazing. The staff is friendly and attentive, always willing to help you make the perfect choice. Overall, Bread up is a must-visit bakery for anyone who appreciates freshly baked goods and wants to indulge in some delicious treats.

We tried,

1. Ricotta cheese puff :- this was absolutely delish and so delicious.
2. Caprese Mini baguette:- It was a nice mini salad cheese sandwich. I loved it.
3. Verdura veggies stromboli :- it had fresh veggies fillings and tasted delicious.
4. Olive & Rosemary focaccia bread :- it was very fluff, fresh and delicious with the pesto dip
5. Chocolate truffle and Nutella brownie pastry:- we loved it so much, it used to melt inside the mouth, very moist and was perfect in taste.

Recently visited Breadup from the house of Mia Cucina.

They have good variety of veg and non veg options.

We had the following -

Caramelized onion scroll bread - Their in house breads are soft and there was good topping of onion. Ricotta spinach puff - Soft and fresh puff and a unique one seeved with chutney. Pesto scroll bread - Something different which you will not find in many bakeries and it was yummy.

Desserts - Profit balls - Cute chocolate ball with some filing inside. Nutella brownie - Their brownies generally contain egg. It was very soft and was huge and there was good topping of Nutella. Banofee pie - Tarts filled with banoffe pie was yummy. Opera Slice - The pastry is huge and yummy and good for 2 people.
