Cafe Free India is one of the oldest restaurant in Mumbai this is located near the very famous area in Mumbai which is lower parel where there are many restaurants in this area this is almost 50 years old restaurant. This place is located on the main road so it is easy to find this café. This place is just opposite Deepak Talkies. It is easy to find this restaurant on Google Map as well. I went to this place with one of my friend. I visited this place for the first time. As we went in to the café the café was still having the old style décor there was funny quotes written on the walls of the café which really feel me good I was reading the quotes all over the restaurant. This place has a good comfort sittings the restaurant was almost full as we went in the restaurant. I loved the old style interior of the restaurant. The name Café Free India itself is a good name because at this place you can freely enjoy your drinks and food with your friends and family.

Read more'Cafe Free India' is essentially an Instagram Paradise owing to it's rustic décor. The bar in the dining area looks fabulous. To add to this, pictures and props in this brick-walled café makes it aesthetic. They have a classy playlist, the music playing in the background emanates this aura of positive energy.
The customer service is absolutely flawless. They have a very friendly and courteous staff who with their hospitality and prompt service makes the customer feel like a guest. Our table was hosted by Mr. Sachin and Mr. Kumar who were very helpful. The average order time per dish is 10-15 minutes during peak hours.
Drinks Along with the regulars like premium drinks and an exquisite wine variety, the drinks menu includes cocktail selections featuring tons of liquor bases. It also features a broad array of options for teetotallers in the 'beverages' section. We had "Ginger Lemon" and "Bombay Green". The former drink is a perfect blend of Ginger and lemon thereby resulting in such an amazing drink. It was very refreshing and had an amazing aftertaste. "Bombay Green" is a Vodka and White Rum based cocktail with a blend of coriander. It has a lovely flavour and in terms of alcohol strength, it is not very strong.
Appetizers Starting with the appetizers, the menu has tons of palatable dishes from international and Indian Cuisine. We ordered "Jalapeno Nuggets", "Chilly Garlic Chicken Dry" and "Bacon Wrapped Prawns". The nuggets were little bombs of treats with a symphony of a cheesy flavour and spiciness. Served with a creamy dip (garlic and Mayo based), it is the perfect appetizer to start your dining odyssey. The bacon wrapped prawns were served with the same dip and tasted like heaven. To bring in the exquisite taste of Oriental Cuisine on our table, we ordered "Chilly Garlic Chicken Dry". It was extremely appetizing and had a delectable taste.
Mains The main course options vary from Regional Indian dishes to continental and oriental plates. It also features a bunch of lipsmacking burgers and pizzas loaded with out of the world toppings. Having tried finger food and Oriental dishes for appetizers, we ordered a Indian main course dish to expand the flavours in our taste palates. "Chicken Tikka Masala" with wheat tawa chapati is one of the best combinations and I highly recommend it. The gravy has a lovely aroma and texture and it is extremely flavourful. The chicken pieces submerged, were juicy and added to the elegance. You can also try one of their rice dishes.
Dessert We opted for "Dessert of the Day" which was "Blueberry Cheesecake". It is extra-creamy and has the perfect tartness to it which makes it an extremely delicious treat. The dessert section also offers other pretty sweet treats like "Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice cream", "Red Velvet Cupcake" and "Gooey Chocolate Brownie" that I think you'll find doubtlessly prodigious.
Cafe Free India is absolutely delightful. Even though it is cited in one of the busy streets of Lower Parel, it's one the few cafes that draw you away from the hustle of the city. It's apt to come here for date night or...

Imagine walking down memory lane, and sipping on a cuppa of chai, in a typical café back in the 1940’s. The unpretentious furniture comprises of cane chairs, and marble topped tables. The vibe is inviting, and the café comes alive with light-hearted banter.
Inspirational branches
Café Free India, seeks inspiration from the Indian Freedom Movement. The eatery is comfortable nestled in the vicinity of Lower Parel. They also have a branch in Bandra, and hope to inaugurate just another in Andheri, post the 2019 monsoon.
The Vintage bits
The Lower Parel property is leased on a premise that is over 50 years old. The property once catered to a famous Dairy. The café is managed and created by Rich Roche Hospitality, which is owned by Sachin Roche and his wife, Dr. Richa Agarwal. The décor comes alive with industrial furniture, which explores a different narrative of the bygone era. Sachin and Richa, strive hard at rendering the old-world charm to the café, which in a way imparts it’s own authentic flavour. Elements like marble tabletops, cane chairs, and switchboards from the 1940’s add to the charismatic appeal. Café Free India employs a warm and understanding staff. They’re quick on a heel, and serve patrons with due promptness.
The crowd
Invigorating aromas from the kitchen unfailingly lure patrons to try their simple, yet refreshing creations. It is interesting to learn how some of them keep coming back from time to time. The café is strategically located in the corporate area, luring office-goers. Family and friends frequent the place, on weekends.
Take on TASTY
The food reviews have been fantastic. I have shamelessly found myself binging on a number of things. Some of most famous delicacies include lip-smacking burgers, such as the ‘Southern Fried Cottage Cheese Burger’, ‘The Bombay B’urger (that comes with a freshly prepared beetroot patty), the yummy ‘Louisiana Crab Burger’, the ‘Crispy Chilli Prawn Burger’, juicy ‘Lucy Lamb Burger’ and many more. The Café Free India team doesn’t believe in stocking on frozen burger patties. Their burgers are made to order. Patron rave over their burgers stating, that the patty has a crispy outer and the meats and vegetables are all juicy and fresh.
Some of the other specialities include the ‘French Onion Soup’, ‘Thukpa’, ‘Asian Pot Curry’, ‘Spaghetti and Meatballs’, and a delicious array of thin crust pizzas.
The bar concocts an interesting number of signature cocktails and some of the regular favourites as well. The city-inspired cocktails include, ‘Bombay Green’, ‘Queens Necklace’, ‘Bombay 13’, ‘Veerappan’, ‘Kaali Peeli’ and more. The prices are reasonable, encouraging people o keep coming back.
End Note
All in all, going to Café Free India is like taking a walk down memory lane....
