Chinese Xpress is easy to locate, though it offers 2 small and functional spaces with enough seating. The interior is basic and bland, certainly not designed for a special occasion. This spot is best suited for a quick, casual meal with friends, or as a reliable option for takeaway or online ordering. A quick note for seafood lovers: prawns were unavailable during my visit.

The Culinary Experience The menu offers solid Indo-Chinese options with generally decent portion sizes that are good for sharing between two people.

Teriyaki Chicken Dry (starter): This was the clear winner of the meal, an easy 4 out of 5. The chicken was exceptionally soft and the Teriyaki flavour was spot on, making it a very enjoyable starter.

Chicken Hot Basil Dry (starter): This dish was also good, scoring a 3.5 out of 5. While the flavour was delicious, the texture was slightly tighter or chewier. However, this is likely inherent to the style of preparation, so the rating is a personal preference rather than a fault in the cooking.

For the main course, I tried the Chicken Chopper Fried Rice. The rice itself was satisfactory (3 out of 5), but it was topped with a gravy that, unfortunately, was the weakest link of the meal (2 out of 5). Thankfully, the portion of the topping was minimal and easily separable, allowing the fried rice to be enjoyed mostly on its own.

Overall Verdict Chinese Xpress is a straightforward, no-frills destination offering good value and tasty starters, particularly the Teriyaki Chicken. It's a highly recommended spot for a casual, budget-friendly meal with a group or, even better, for a satisfying, quick...

I had food at this place few months back and again ordered for home delivery. Food quality and taste is excellent for reasonable prices. Chicken Hunan noodles - Excellent in taste, texture of noodles was very good and thin and total value for money. Chicken chilly dry - Very good in taste and quantity. Chicken Tandoori - Very nice and crispy chicken and also very flavorful. Chicken 65: It was red in color which is unlike any other I have had, as chicken 65 is usually dark in color. Taste was good and with spiciness. Chicken hunan gravy - It was really dark looking dish. Taste was good but nothing great. Chicken Lollipop - Crispy on outside. Taste was good. In an all a very good restaurant for food taste and pricing. This restaurant is an ideal example of a restaurant offering good food for great pricing in an ordinary looking restaurant. Must visit if you prefer good tasting food over good...

Well I had been to many restaurants which serves Chinese cuisine but this restaurant stands out from every other places. I won't exaggerate but trust me this place serves you the best Chinese food you'd ever have in Mumbai at such affordable price. The restaurant is quite small and cozy, well maintained and hygenic. The staff and the managers are very friendly, courteous and polite. If you are looking for lip smacking appetizers you should go for Dragon chilli gravy which will definitely boost your appetite.I would highly recommend to try there Chicken kepsa which is worth the money. Apart from non-vegetarian delicacies they have wide variety of vegetarian food as well, out of which the Veg burnt garlic chilli rice is on point. Last but not the least the caramel custard is yum to end your meal with. I wish there were more stars to rating...

Omg!can’t believe we ate soo much and paid peanuts!like literally. The best part about this place was the bite sized “half” portions so that u can try more dishes at a time without being too full every time you order something new, ideal for someone with a small appetite and perfect to satisfy those sudden hunger cravings. I rarely write a review but this place is mention worthy. So we started with a half soup ,then we ordered prawn peri peri dry (real spicy for all the spice lovers),half chicken double pepper dry and to end with half Thai curry rice . We were two and the total we paid was just 600 including two mineral water bottles and trust me the food was really really good! Sorry for not clicking pictures 🙈was too hungry ! But will be surely visiting next time!
