Gopalas Vegetarian Kitchen — Restaurant in Mumbai

Gopala's being a famous name in bhandup and around known for its lipsmacking Indian delicacies from years. This outlet is the oldest and the best outlet of Gopala's. Twist here is now they have also started with Italian and Mexican dishes as well. Its a big place accomodating lots of tables and a soothing environment as well. Nothing extraordinary in ambience but quite simple.

Food:- Started with soup as usual. Burn garlic soup*:- This soup was one of the best and unique soup i ever had. Twist of garlic and thier sauces to manchow soup. Taste was spicy as well as tangy. Defiantely one should try this.

Paneer Tikka Starter:- Very nice presentation and well merniated as well. Perfectly grilled and paneer was very soft and juicy.

One chinese starter dont remember the name but was very nice in taste and perfect spices being added.

Spagetti pasta in pink sauce*:- spagetti was thick and non sticky. It was made really well. Pink sauce had amazing taste and very creamy served with garlic bread. Highly recommended to try.

Dal Khichdi Tadka:- Best and forever favourite of this place. Khichdi made well and tadka over it. Lots of spices added to it. It was served piping hot and spicy as well. Its different then other places.

Gopalas special falooda*:- Very amazing made falooda with rose, mango and more tflavours added to it. A slight taste of coconut also in there. Dry fruits added made it look very rich in taste. Definately a must try.

Gadbad Ice cream*:- This dessert would enable anybody to drool in taste of ice cream. This ice cream was amazingly and made unique. At the base thier was a bathtub of fruits over it 3 scoops of different ice creams. Whole was made rich by adding dry fruits and it tasted really amazing and well presented too. Highly recommended to try this.

Service:- service was very quick and prompt. Server always took care about the table being restuarant full all the time. Staff was very courteous as well. Manager himself took care that all is going well with customers and they get good experience.

Definately a must visit place. Pocket...

Food is adequate, but the total deal breaker is how the owner speaks to the customer. So very prideful of his food that he forgot the meaning of customer service. I had placed 20 and 90 orders in one month and for him, 20 orders is irrelevant wherein he sent it via porter which resulted in total spillage of the food and led to a waste of food as well as money which he didn’t take responsibility for at all and argued when we reported about it as well. The second time for the 90 orders, he sent his own person which resulted in good delivery and he took responsibility for that since it was a big order. However, the ill experience started when I wanted to place the third order (around 20) and wanted reassurance of no spillage and the possibility of no payment due to waste of food because of the spillage for which I was ready to pay extra as well. But the owner, with his pride and offensive tone; said “this is my food, I will speak however i want; you cannot tell me you won’t pay because food got waste because that is not my responsibility and it is the delivery persons responsibility.” when all i wanted was reassurance that the food will not be a waste since it is meant for HOD’s and Professors of a reputed institution. Really disappointed with this experience and I wonder how small orders are handled when close to 20 is being...

So it was a weekend time.. And it's a vacation so we decided to go out for a family dinner tonight.. We have heard a lot about this place from friends and family so finally we decided to visit.. . Been Weekend there was no problem in services.. Service was quick and good.. . Here is what we ordered : Soups *Manchow soup : It was kinda spicy but still taste was amazing.. *Lemon Corriander soup : It was really delicious as it gives sour taste of lemon and little bit sweet taste as well.. So it was a kinda perfect soup for everyone..

-Starters *Nachos : It was fried nachos served with cheese sauce.. *Bruschetta : This was the perfect because it amazing.. The bread was crispy so it tasted amazing..

-Main course *Arabita Pasta : it was prepared in white sauce and veggies nd served with 2 garlic breads.. *Garden Fresh Pizza : it was delicious it was loaded with loads of mozzarella cheese and veggies.. *Margherita Pizza : everyone knows its pizza with loads of mozzarella cheese and pizza sauce it was nice but not up-to the mark.. *Paper Dosa : it was amazing to taste..especially loved the sambhar.. . They even have crowd of people staying in there hotel & they have there banquet hall for parties or any buffet dinner or any meetings or conferences.. . Pocket friendly.. Well maintained and perfectly hygienic...
