We have been buying sweets and Farsan from here for many many years now but have stopped completely. 2 bad instances, 1st waste found a wasp in our Shrikhand. Went there to complain and the guy took back the shrikhand and gave me my money back without even saying a sorry. Since we were regular buyers, we thought of this as a one of incident and still continued to buy. We again got Rajbhog shrikhand in 2023 and this time again we found a large black ant. I went there angrily and shouted on the manager there, he showed little remorse, did not budge or even apologize and offered to again give me a refund, I threw the box there in front of him and came back without taking his money. Very recently another resident of Anand Nagar also found a huge bug in one of their food and threatened to sue them. The video went viral on FB's Anand Nagar page and from what I heard is that they settled the issue with the buyer by paying him 20 thousand Rupees. Iss dukan ki Chamak Damak pe mat jaiye, Im sure inka sab kuch kachrapatti jaise mohol...
Read moreMurlidhar Sweets is one of the biggest mithaee shops in Dahisar East. The sweets are really tasty and good quality but if they try to do cost cutting by fooling customers or by not paying attention to what is being packed in the mithaee box for what the customer has paid for. I feel that the best thing is to weight and fill up the box in front of customer and then process the payment. At Murlidhar I ordered for half kg keshar milk modak and half kg roasted milk modak. The person at the counter passed my order behind a small window in a small room where my order was packed and passed back to me and then I paid for it and left the store. After i reached my relatives place and opened the boxes we found that I had been fooled and I got one box keshar milk modak which I ordered and one box full of bundi ladoo which I did'nt ordered. I felt very sad still I'm giving 2 stars for the quality of sweets but please pay attention to what is being packed and delivered...
Read moreSharing my experience from yesterday. I asked for sugar free mithai. The person on the counter gave me "Nut Caramel Sandwich" saying that it is less sweet. I did not taste it and trusted the guy since I was running late to reach some where. When I actually ate it, it had lots of sugar, lots of food color too. The almond on the top used as garnish was colored red with Sindhoor we use in tilak. I kept the almond under running water and there was so much color coming off it! Why is so much color, which is not even food color, being used in sweets? Also, is this how you advice a customer when they ask for help? Another item bought from the store "Karela chips". Farsaan is supposed to be tangy and not bhoot jholakia level spicy! Too much black pepper and red chilly power has been used. I will recommend not to buy it since eating even one piece has led to throat and stomach ache in the family. Murlidhar should take a note of all this and improve...
