Kazuza — Restaurant in Mumbai

Location :

Kazuza is a new block in the bustling streets of S.V Road, with a very unique name and a distinct identity. Located bang opposite to Oh Calcutta.

Ambiance:

As soon as you enter you will find yourself immersed in the aromatic smoke of Sheesha, backed with some funky music and mystic lights. With a cozy seating arrangement of approximately 70+ at one go, the place can get too occupied even during weekdays, so I reckon to do an advance booking, if you plan to go in a large group.

Sheesha:

Due to the on-going government regulations, we have fewer options when it comes to Sheesha. Despite of all odds, you can be rest assured that this place would offer a wide range of Sheesha’s to you, and that too till 3:30AM on all days along with some lip smacking food. I decided to try a couple of flavors.

1. Apple Pan Zaffran – A superb combination of 2 of my favorite flavors, namely Pan and Apple comes in a single pot. Comes with the perfect freshness of Apple and coolness of Pan. I would surely recommend this.

2. Blueberry Mint – Next on the list was this star with a combo consisting of the rich and sweet flavors of Blueberry with a cooling sensation of Mint. This is a good combo to try if you want to enhance your experience with Sheesha’s.

Mocktails:

I believe that the hot and humid weather along with the crazy traffic of Mumbai made us really thirsty that night, LOL and we kept on ordering mocktails one after the other, ended up ordering 10 of them which are listed below.

1. Blue Lagoon – Blue Curacao topped with lime juice, Canned Cherries, Soda and Ice, offers a perfect soothing mix of sweet and sour notes.

2. Rogus Punch – A delightful blend of Apple juice, Peach, Apricot and Vanilla ice-cream, worth trying once is what I would say.

3. Fresh Cream Chocolate Oreo Milkshake – Oreo Shakes are pretty common and widely available almost at every restaurant. Despite of trying Oreo Shakes several times, the one over here wins my heart. The key was the amount of sweetness which was perfect and kept the flavours of Oreo alive and didn’t turn it into a sugar syrup.

4. Pink Lady – An eye popping colour of crushed strawberry and watermelon well mixed with Vanilla ice cream, served with a slice of fresh watermelon.

5. Queen Punch – A refreshing combination of Cranberry, Orange juice, Grenadine syrup & Ice.

These were namely the ones I liked the most, the rest included

7. Red bull mocktail

8. Virgin Mojito

9. Orange delight &

10. Berry blush.

Appetizers:

We order for several starters, to be precise 7 of them, right from Chinese to North Indian, which hardly left any room for the main course. They are listed below :

1. Mozzarella Cheese Onion Rings – Well coated, tastes good, but a bit too oily.

2. Jalapeno Cheese Poppers – Loaded with Cheese and spicy Jalapenos, a must try.

3. Dhindori Paneer – A good replacement to the routine Paneer Tikka, comes in a light white colour.

4. Stuffed Mushrooms – Fresh and juicy mushrooms with a mild spicy masala.

5. Paneer Naram Dil ke kebab (Kazuza Special) – Have tried this at several places, but this was one among the best, due to the immense amount of crisp on the outside, while justifying its name of soft and tender on the inside.

6. Paneer Chilly – Flavourful dices of paneer, coated with the adequate amount of sauce.

7. Paneer Hot Garlic – This one is way better to order if you like Chinese. The pungent taste of Garlic can be experienced in each bite, surely a must try.

Kazuza is situated in one of the plush areas of Mumbai. It is on the S.V road of Khar, very close to the Khar station. There's no big banner or board so you need to eye it.

The ambiance is good enough with a casual vibe and the place seems to be very enthusiastic. The staff is very courteous and friendly.

The best part about Kazuza is that it functions till 4 Am. Isn't that amazing? They also have happy hours to let you save on your pocket. The best Sheesha Lounge in Khar I've been so far is Kazuza. The quality of the Sheesha is so smooth and their timely service makes you relax completely and enjoy the Hookah. They have quite good amount of flavors and pricing is not high

Paneer Naram Dil Kebab

Extreme soft Paneer, on the sweeter end, with strong flavors of cardamon. It is deep fried and the coating is very crispy.

Dragon Twist

A beverage with good food is an essential. Dragon twist is a combination of strawberry crush, Pineapple juice & Orange juice. The color and flavor looks more of strawberry but it left hints of pineapple and orange as well.

Chicken Lebnani

This dish is trending a lot these days. It has boneless juicy roasted tender chicken that is placed over a bed of cream cheese sauce and also topped with cream cheese sauce and flavored oils.

Cranberry Cooler

Cranberry base cooler with a dash of lime juice and topped with soda. To make it sweet, flavored with some sugar syrup.

Chicken Dahi Lasooni This is very similar to Chicken lebnani. The only difference is, chicken is topped with burnt garlic which adds a succulent garlicky flavour to the entire dish. Garlic dominates over this palette along with curd.

Red Bull Mocktail Red bull mocktail mixed with apple juice and flavors of kiwi. It is presented with a cherry on top.

Chicken Kali Mirchi Tikka Delectable Chunks of chicken roasted to perfection and served with a green chutney. The peculiar taste of Kali Miri is the edge to the dish. It is a grilled dish made in white butter.

Kiwi Margarita Kiwi based slush which looks very fascinating and very beautifully presented.

Chicken Kung Pao. A must try dish. This savory is made with combining Chicken, Peppers, Onions & Garlic in dark sauce and has a orgasmic not-very-spicy taste.

Strawberry Margarita This one is for the Strawberry lovers.

Dindhori Paneer Fresh malai paneer cubes with cheese filled within. It is marinated in a special sauce. It is plated with green chutney though it tasted amazing even without the dip. Its a special preparation by the head chef.

Summer Bliss To beat the heat, a very refreshing, delicious and fruity drink. Goes really well with starters. It is made with mango, litchi, strawberry and blended with fresh cream. A very savage smoothie.

Jalapeno Cheese Poppers One of the best dishes at Kazuza, also my personal favorite. Jalapeno Cheese Poppers are the signature dish at Kazuza.

Balsamic Chicken This one can be skipped. It isn't a bad dish but I felt it was too chewy and the flavors were not appropriate. Not a thumbs up for this one.

Fish It was overcooked and should've been on the crispier side. The fish had strong flavors of lime and sour cream.

Murg Masallam Its the signature dish of Kazuza. Whole roasted chicken served with orange spicy gravy of minced chicken and granished with boiled eggs and coriander. The spices used were astonishing.

Butter Chicken and Butter Naan Very creamy, Very tasty. Butter Chicken is such a wonderful dish that the decision of ordering it can never go wrong.

Chicken Pot Rice There should have been a little more gravy to this rice. Its cooked in a clay pot with gravy on top, chunks of boneless chicken, capsicum and onions.

Located on 3rd floor of hi-tech centre and there is no obvious board, so u might miss the place if u dont keep a watch out.. 😅 As u enter the first impression is casual, with a decent ambience, their menu has both meat and veggie options making it a great option for a group with a diverse palette. – A broad and diverse menu that appeals to many dining moods, ranging from Indian to Chinese to Continental to Fast food..😍 And u r bound to have a good time, when the staff make sure that each and every thing is appropriate and properly looked after 😁 Serving over 40 flavours, their sheesha starts at INR 600. They don’t serve alcohol but you can sip on mocktails that will surely bamboozle your mind 😵 . . Chicken dahi lasooni😚 Top notch , something which you won't forget of for a long time with grilled chicken topped with cool lasoon based dahi giving it a vibrant taste all together.🙆

Dhindori paneer⭐ Golden brown paneer tikka pieces with soft and tender core served Along with the classic green chutney , setting up for a beautiful dish 👌

Chicken kalimirch tikka😎 Tried a variety of these in many different restaurants but this one had a very vivid aroma and blend of flavours.

Hogging on the maincourse 💯

Murgh musallam 😘 One of my all time favourites i prefer eating it in most of the mughlai restaurants, i am very peculiar about it but this one made its place in my mind . Extensive gravy with Tandoori pieces on the go to savour your soul 😋

Butter chicken was also good but nothing to boast about .

Cheese garlic naan 😁 Huge naans loaded with small garlic pieces dipped in cheese making it something to feel good about 🤗
