Mad Over Donuts — Restaurant in Mumbai

New restaurant specialist in seafood preparation so thought of giving it a shot... we walked in ordered for quick round of drinks and starters, it's on first floor and has a huge place to cater.. one needs a lot of patience to wait for the dishes to arrive.. it take almost 30-45 mins for starters and 30mins for drinks to arrive... main course did arrive in reasonable time however the experience was okish.. #Long Finland ice tea: derivative of famous Long Island ice tea, built up on white spirit(vodka, gin and Bacardi) with lime and Coke, the drink was ok but did miss a lot of substance in it.. all we could taste is Coke and lemon.. #Pinklady: as name mentions pink colour is derived from Grenadine syrup, the mocktail was good, very refreshing and flavourful, presentation was good...

#Fish chilly: Crunchy & crisp fish chunks made with garlic and spring onions... the fish was quite fresh and flavoursome. #Non vegetarian seafood platter: varieties of fish preparation in one plate, the platter is a sharing dish but the quantity is less.. #Stuffed Bombil: This was the best dish of the evening, Bombay duck fish stuffed with flavoured batter of garlic and herbs, crispy from outside and soft and tender from inside just perfect.. #Pomfret fry: A typical Malvani preparation, with tandoori masala, the fish was fresh, but didn't like the preparation much, it felt as if the fish was boiled and fried, it was overcooked and like a paste inside..

Overall an OK place... it's quite new hence some more twist in the recipes would ignite the spark in dish and would make it...

Generally I like MOD . Food was good , But they only had coffee in the hot beverages, They have a limited few drinks they have to cater too. And they don't have hot chocolate? Wow , This is becoming a trope , Many MoD s I have seen this happen at. Why is beyond me as they only have so few on the menu . If they can forget doughnuts too then what would they sell. So destroyed my experience and . Had to have nothing as I don't drink coffee . I also asked for a glass of water but they didnt have water 😂. And sold me an over priced bottle of water. You know how cheap a company is when they have to make profit on a bottle of water ... This I find disgusting, no matter how many times I hear it . By law if you aske for a glass of water in any eatery they must give it or direct you to a cooler. Even Macdonald / Burger King etc follow these simple rules . Yes keep water for sale if the customer wants it, or they have no access to it . Which I doubt . On a positive note friendly staff appart from the water and good variety of doughnuts. ...

Name of this place is really apt. One would definitely come out of this restaurant mad over the food they serve and the overall service. Plz avoid.

It's drawbacks; from where should I start; slow & unprofessional service (it took them 10 mins to bring finger bowls after our lunch), non working AC, purely inauthentic tasteless food (one of their prawns dish had a same taste as that of sweet Prasad we generally get in Poojas). Almost all the customers were complaining about some or the other thing. Go here only if you want to visit an endangered place which is on a serious risk...
