We hosted our Engagement Ceremony function at Prasad, Powai on 4th February, 2024.
The bookings and introduction was handled by the manager Mr. Rahul who had huge assurances for us regarding the event.
Their banquet hall located on the first floor was fairly new and I must praise the ambience and the decor. We were really impressed. Some amenities like lift and changing room for the groom and bride were not ready, but we were assured that by the event day everything will be up and running. Food tasting was done and Mr. Rahul also offered some extra options within the prescribed menu, courteous of him.
The event manager is in-house Mr. Ankush, who is really good at his work. Everything seemed merry until the day of the event. The changing rooms were not ready, the AC was not installed, and the lift was still pending. Complete havoc as their team was clearly not prepared and inexperienced to handle an event like this. We waited outside and the AC was brought and installed in front of us. The entire make-up team and the bride had to wait for close to 1.30 hour before the AC was functioning. The problems had just started to come up. While the AC was up, somehow the electricity started to get cut.
The decor team got the hall decked up to as expected, kudos to Mr. Ankush and his team. During the course of the event, the electricity got cut for more than 5 times. There was no backup and we were left embarrassed in front of the guests. We later realised that the load taking capacity of the hall itself was not sufficient to handle a event of this scale. This resulted in the drop in power at the entire hotel. Clearly, the hotel staff was inexperienced. In the entire course of this mess, Mr. Rahul didn't even bother to come up once and take responsibility of the event. He was busy handling the restaurant guests leaving us in question as to whom to ask and enquire about what's going on.
Talking about the food quality and taste we had good reviews from the guests, however by the time we sat for dinner along with the bride and groom the AC was off [as they didn't want to increase the electric load] and there was no adequate staff from their side to serve us food.
The reason for writing such an elaborate review is to not demean the hotel in any means but to make people like us aware who are willing to host an event at their banquet so that they know what to check and ensure is in place before...

★★★★★ (5/5 Stars)
If you're looking for a dining experience that nourishes not just your body but also your soul, look no further than Prasad Food Dine. This isn't just a meal; it's a journey into the heart of authentic, lovingly prepared vegetarian cuisine.
From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The decor is simple and clean, with a subtle spiritual charm that makes you feel immediately at peace. It’s the kind of place that feels good to be in, even before you take your first bite.
But the true magic, of course, is on the plate.
The Food: An Absolute Revelation
We ordered the Thali and it was a masterpiece. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Dal Makhani—creamy, perfectly spiced, and simmered to absolute perfection. The Paneer Butter Masala was incredibly rich and flavorful, with soft, fresh paneer cubes that melted in your mouth.
Every single element, from the fluffy basmati rice and warm, flaky rotis to the tangy pickle and crisp papadum, was fresh and delicious. The salads were crunchy and refreshing, providing a perfect counterbalance to the richer dishes. And let's not forget the dessert—a small bowl of sweet semolina halwa that was the perfect, warm, comforting end to the feast.
What I appreciate most is that the food feels honest. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into each recipe. There's no heavy, greasy feeling afterward, just a deep sense of satisfaction and well-being.
Service & Value:
The service is attentive and gracious. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to explain dishes. The value for money is exceptional, especially for the thali, which offers an incredible variety and abundance of food for the price.
Final Verdict:
Prasad Food Dine is a gem. It’s perfect for a quiet solo lunch, a family dinner, or for introducing friends to the incredible depth of vegetarian Indian cuisine. It’s more than just a restaurant; it’s a truly...
Read moreI am giving 1 star because of the poor service provided by their home delivery feature from their own app named as 'Prasad Food Divine'. Please just remove this app🙏
I stay at kanjurmarg and they have 2 outlets near to kanjurmarg (Mulund and Powai) but the management from both location keep telling us order from the other location since it is far from their outlet. However, both of these locations are within 7 km range from my place, one being just 3.5 to 4 km range. They keep pushing delivery to each other and also auto cancel our order without notifying us. This has happened multiple times with us but they simply don't care about the customer at all.
At least they should show in their app clearly that they do not accept order from a particular location so that people wont order only then. The delivery person asks us to talk to manager and change the outlet address. I don't think this is customer's duty to talk separately to both of the outlet's management. There should be transparency in internal communication between all the Prasad Food Divine outlets.
The manager at Powai location asked us to order from either zomato or swiggy. Then my question to the management is why you have created your own app and also give us loyalty points in that app which can only be redeemed via their app.
Just imagine, u come home after long hectic work schedule, place an order through their app for dinner which gets successfully placed and after 1 hr or so u dont even see your order in their app with no proper explanation of the order cancellation.
Please do not play with customers'time. I used to be a regular customer at your outlet in Kalyan during my childhood days but behaviour like this is very disappointing and...
