A recent evening at The Eve Restaurant was an exploration of flavors and finesse, marked by moments of delight and a few missteps, all framed by exemplary service.
Drinks:
Our evening commenced with the Eve's Mule, a refreshing and invigorating start that set a pleasant tone for the night. This well-crafted cocktail balanced zest and chill effortlessly, offering a lively prelude to our dining experience.
However, the Kochi Sour diverged sharply from our expectations. The blend of pineapple and citrus with gin created a cocktail that veered into an unanticipated bitterness. The taste felt discordant, leaving us underwhelmed by its execution.
The El Dove aimed to deliver tanginess but fell short of its potential. Although it was tangy, it lacked the punch we anticipated. A touch of neck salt did enhance its flavor slightly, but it did not wholly rectify the imbalance.
Food:
The culinary journey began with the Eve Thukpa, a standout starter. This soup, imbued with an assertive ginger note, was both hearty and invigorating. It set a high bar for the evening with its warming flavors and aromatic depth.
The Mushroom Surprise followed, a dish that managed to impress with its earthy richness. While not as memorable as the Thukpa, it was a solid and enjoyable offering.
The Cream Cheese Paneer, however, was the crowning glory of our meal. This dish dazzled with its harmonious flavors and impeccable presentation. It stood out as the highlight of our evening, showcasing culinary expertise and an eye for detail.
We concluded with the Khao Pad Karaoke, a Thai dish that was equally commendable. The freshness of the vegetables and the quality of the rice were evident, and the dish was executed with a skillful touch that enhanced its overall appeal.
Steward:
Our experience was significantly elevated by Shubh, our steward for the evening. His presence was nothing short of exceptional. With unwavering dedication and an attentive demeanor, Shubh orchestrated our dining experience with a level of service that was both memorable and impressive. His commitment to ensuring our satisfaction was evident throughout the 2.5-hour meal, and his contribution was a pivotal part of what made the evening special.
In conclusion, while The Eve Restaurant offered a mixed bag in terms of drinks, its culinary strengths and the exceptional service provided by Shubh made for a noteworthy evening. The restaurant shines brightly in its ability to deliver delightful dishes and superb service, though a few refinements in drink offerings could elevate the overall experience...

If it’s crowded take a u turn as it affects the service big time and if you complain you are treated with a sly smile. The servers look super stressed 😩. Maybe some team building activities would help
The good
Nice name it makes you wonder what’s the place all about. It’s more like a lounge bar and that’s what it would turn in the evening with a DJ counter.
The dessert was great but not worth the price. The presentation was great and the taste worth eating a mango. Yup it was a cheese cake.
If you got a food allergy 🤧 do let them know they make a note of it
Ambience was nice and the bathrooms were super clean. (Always go and check the loos of you wanna rate the place)
Service was in a Jiffy it’s like before we could really settle down and enjoy the place the food was ready I was like Hey give us some time to settle. Looks like they have implemented Ai and everyone’s job is safe 😀
🎶 could be better but decent
The menu is a combination of continental Asian more like fusion meals and the good ol pizzas etc and the portion size if good for a medium sized person.
Temperature was just right which is a rare thing in restaurants
The Bad
Hey it’s a level above so you got to climb around 30 steps. At the end of the steps it gets a bit crowded as it’s a selfie point.
We got the starters after the main course before the 🧁 dessert. That’s when you cannot manage a kitchen for a big crowd. They just forgot about it.
Food was not hot as per restaurant standards. Even Swiggy and ZOMATO deliver hot 🍱. Even the steamed dim sums.
I had to remind them of my beer order around 🖐️ times
They completely forgot 🤯😀😀our drinks 🍺 order I just did not remind them.
Seating needs to be looked at you just sink in the sofa. No it’s not comfortable as I am 5’11 and the table was at eye level 😂 I had to ask for a cushion
The ugly
Fly Trap - I pointed out to them that there was a fly in the a accompaniments the manager came and he disappeared faster than Flash the superhero trust me no reaction his face was as dead as the fly. No free dish no discount no can I get you another dish.. I just went on with our lunch.
Customer service standards need to be better in our country and people need to objectively point out their views. Happy “EVE”Ning to you. My review is my personal opinion and solely based on my experience today.
On the car parking the Valets are good but I am not sure where the park the cars...
Read moreVisited Eve on a Saturday date night. We were already tired and wanted to just wrap up the day with a nice meal and some cocktails. This was also my first time visiting the place.
I had a reservation from Swiggy Dineout for 8:30 PM, but we arrived at 7 PM (plans being cancelled) and the staff was happy to assist us switch the timings.
Straight off the bat, the ambience at this place is exemplary. Words cannot do justice. It looks amazing, smells amazing - with fresh flowers all around, excellent lighting throughout, music is at the right volume to have a good conversation (although it did get a bit loud as the evening progressed, could be a weekend thing).
The food we ordered was alright. There isn't much to say about it. It was, just how we expected it to be. We ordered some General Tso's Chicken, Dim sums and the usual bar nibbles. These were also staff recommended so I wasn't amazed by it. Will order some unique items next time I visit to get an idea.
Cocktails ranged from really good to average. The old fashioned was strictly average, I've had better. Could use more whiskey (I'm not even sure if they used bourbon for it) and bitters. It was very-very mildly flavoured. The 'Essence of Life' ( a gin + kaffir lime based cocktail) was pretty good - they didn't have a Gimlet so as a replacement this was pretty good.
Cocktails were also a bit on the pricey side for the quality.
The service was again, quite average. Staff is pleasant but we always had to raise our hands, only for it to go unnoticed for a few minutes before someone came to our assistance. And had to practically do it for even water refills. The food recommendations were not very, for lack of a better word, unique. Also, we were told that there is a slot system at this place, and we had 90 minutes to finish our meal. Although it is plenty of time and we would have probably finished in 90 minutes, it was a little weird. We were not forced out though for exceeding this time by 5-10 minutes. Again, unsure if these slots are only a weekend thing or not.
I will definitely visit again. The ambience itself is good enough for another trip to this place. Hopefully the extensive menu will have something adventurous to order that I overlooked...
