Stay: 10 days Room: Single Occupancy
Service review: The service here is excellent. All the staff are well behaved and polite. They show excellent hospitality towards the customer and help you from check-in to check-out. From helping you with transfer of luggage, room service, replenishment of mini-bar and other items in the room, invoicing, and many more, the service has been excellent. Reception staff were good as well.
Special mention to Raju and Nandalal, the service staff who took extremely good care of me during my stay. Room service happened every day. Overall 5/5 for room service.
Room overview: The room was compact and not spacious. Although it was sufficient for one person. Initially I had claustrophobia as I come from cities that doesn't have much space constraint. Nevertheless, the amenities provided in the room were as mentioned and good. However, the pool and fitness area were under renovation. So I couldn't use those complimentary amenities although mentioned during the booking.
The room had some shortcomings. The windows were nailed to avoid water from entering the rooms during rains. So the ventilation was not there. Due to humidity issues, the dry AC air makes you throat dry for prolonged stays. Heavy rains caused water entering the rooms despite their precautions. Although this was taken care of using towels by the room service staff, a better solution is expected from a hotel of this quality. Bed and storage were comfortable. Bathroom and toilet area are tidy and hygienic. Minor misses in replenishment here and there but nothing major. Hot water was available 24 x 7. Shower water wastage can be minimized. So giving the room 3.5/5.
Restaurant: The in-house restaurant and the other restaurants are all very good. The food provided was hot, tasty and on time. Some items were expensive while the others were worth the cost. Their south indian cuisine made sure I don't miss home food. Excellent service there as well.
Additional: Laundry was also good. Dental kit, shaving kit, ear buds, shoe shine, kettle and many more amenities were provided. Two small water bottles were provided free of cost everyday. Maybe they provide a bucket and mug...

Being a Canadian national born and brought up in India, and having spent a significant part of my life in Mumbai, I hold a deep appreciation for quality service and guest care. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel fell far short of any reasonable expectation. I had planned to prepare for my wedding at this hotel, intending to accommodate my family and host makeup artists and photographers in a comfortable and supportive environment. To facilitate this, I booked three rooms for eight guests, spending nearly ₹70,000 for a two-night stay. To avoid any misunderstandings, I visited the hotel a few days prior to confirm our arrangements. However, I was met with an unexpected and disappointing response. Initially, the hotel cited “security reasons” for not allowing external artists, only to later propose an additional charge of ₹1,500 per person for their entry. Additionally, the hotel demanded the names of all guests staying in each room, which felt unnecessarily invasive. To make matters worse, they restricted us to a single key for a triple-occupancy room, forcing us to rely on their staff to escort us—an inconvenience seemingly designed to encourage tipping. The key system itself was restrictive, only allowing access to the floor of the assigned room. To add to our frustration, when one of our rooms was changed during the stay, we were relocated to a poorly maintained room. The washroom was unclean, there were no towels or basic housekeeping supplies, and no one from the staff attended to these issues despite our requests. Moreover, there was no mobile network coverage in the new room, adding another layer of inconvenience to an already subpar experience. Overall, this experience revealed a lack of...
Read moreWe had a night stay here during busy End of the year season2022. They say it is 4 star hotel but that's overrated. Even though located in prime area catering to high end domestic and international clientele, the attitude is not up to the mark. The Staff had limited English proficiency and always lacked the proper mannerism, sometimes unconfident and subservient. Our Room had amazing east view, that we woke up to a rising sun! (the glass window needs serious cleaning from outside with bird poop drooling on them. ...LOL) Bathroom had quality features with panel shower. The hot water shower made our day. Bed, mattress were decent. AC worked. TV was a mystery to figure out. Next day we went down for breakfast and the restaurant is decent. It has unique décor with acceptable quality of food and above average service. The staff helped to cater to our special needs. So the night we checked-in we wanted to order drinks to our room. There was no menu in the room. They took forever, I mean 3 calls and 40 minutes later they provided the food and drink menu. Looking at the menu the dinks were averaged about 500 rupees so requested 2 for the couple. To my surprise they charged me 4000 rupees next day at the check out and the reason they gave was it's through room service. After tax I nearly paid 5600. Cherry on top the cocktail drinks were watered down and had no flavor whatsoever. I wish I had a chance to give negative 5star...
