Mysore masala dosa, handi lasooni are great. This restaurant is right in front of KEM Hospital where I work. I have been to this place many years back and have some memory of ordering a dish with 2 colored gravy, but I don't remember the flavors etc so would not comment on it.Recently have been trying a lot of food out here which I can review. Masala Dosa - Very nice and flavorful. Portions are good for dosa and the masala, sambhar is also good, but coconut chutney is ordinary. Mysore Masala Dosa - Excellent in flavor and it is one of the best I have tried ever. Dosa is perfect and fillings are good as well. Uttapam - Onion or tomato onion both are good but nothing great to write about. Masala Idli - A friend of mine had ordered this item and it is one of the weirdest items ever. Flavor is ordinary and look is like a ball. Not recommended. Dahi Idli - Again ordered by the friend and nothing great to write about. He did not like it too much. Handi Lasooni - Another friend of mine recommended this dish and have tried it at least 5 times after that, so much I loved it. Cost is only Rs. 140 and flavor is very good. It is something different from normal red gravy dishes in all restaurants. Highly recommended. A good value for money dish which also tastes good. Aditi special Biryani: Contains 3 types of rice namely Red, white and green. The red one is average, white has a sweet flavor and the best and green one is similar to their veg hydrabadi biryani.Veg hydrabadi biryani - Taste was average and the dish was not served hot. Paneer-La-Jawab: Good in taste (3.5/5). Gravy was flavorful and mildly spiced. Paneer was very soft and tender. Tandoori Roti - One of the worst tandoori roti's I have tried. Taste is ordinary and many time sides of roti has thick undercooked sections. Spring Dosa: When we tried to order Mysore masala dosa, this one got recommended by the waiter. So I ordered it. It had noodles inside with American corn which gave it a sweetish flavor. Chutneys given were green one (not spicy and with minty flavor) and light red one (had sweetish flavor, may be of jaggery). I did not like it that much. It was not bad at all. But this dosa does not match their Mysore masala dosa any day. But my friend liked this dosa. Will update the review in future as I try more...
Read moreI have been ordering here from many years being a doctor from Kem I have seen this restaurant growing in front of me. Had many good memories here until today when a waiter named janardhan comes to me during breakfast and orders me to change seats as if I am some begger came inside on mercy. Later he started arguing with me , when I went to manager desk for some explanation he didn't bother. So I felt insulted as a customer who paid you for your services since a long time , we employee of Kem makes a huge bulk in your customer pool and this is the behavior we get? The food has gone downhill since many months but it never bothered me until today. If you are over pricing so much at least give quality service too otherwise there are a lot of options around for everyone of us. I am not coming back ever again and will be urging my colleagues to condemn...
Read moreAs we were looking for pure veg restaurant we decided to visit this one. It's spacious and have been well-known for years. We started of our meal by ordering starters. In starters we ordered Veg Spring Roll. Veg Spring Rolls are savoury rolls with cabbage and other vegetable fillings inside a thinly wrapped cylindrical pastry. It was garnished so well and it tasted delicious. Noodles intacted with all the veggies and served with schewan dip. In main course we had: Paneer Maratha is a very juicy and yummy dish having four pieces of paneer with a spicy tint. If had with roti makes a good combo. Veg Biryani is a long-grained rice (like basmati) flavored with exotic spices, such as saffron is layered with vegetables and a thick gravy. We had a pure veg meal at this restaurant and enjoyed each and every...
