One of the best Bar-Aani(And)-Restaurants in the Andheri West area. It's a little better looking than your typical quarter bar (called so for they sell hard drinks by the nips too) and the food is much better than the usual cheap bars. The prices are decent for its category and the crowds on most days are friendly and comprise young people and a lot of film industry people. It has separate smoking, non-smoking and non-AC sections with very little variations in price. Try the Roasted Chicken Chilly (black sauce), Tandoori, Butter Chicken and of course, Dal Khichdi. Plus Tandoori Pomfret and the veg/non-veg spring rolls if you have more time. Auto-rikshaws are usually available till late outside. Open till 1-1.30am. I have been visiting this place since many years. As of now, the AC Room on the top doesn't do enough cooling. You feel very hot. An Old monk quarter cost Rs 300 which I think is decent But they charge Rs 30 just for a very small sized Vati of Schezwan sauce which is served free in other bars. The chakli or Peanuts are chargeable items. The public is robust and loud. Fights can occur. Non-friendly place and pathetic service. You ask things 5 times only to get served once. I don't recommend this place. You can get cigarettes down at the stall only till 10:30 pm. After that, u can get cigarettes from the counter itself but at a higher price. A big no from me to visit...

I had a great experience at Shankari Restaurant & Bar. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with a nice balance between casual and classy. The staff were attentive, polite, and quick to serve, which made the evening even better.

The food was delicious — especially 👉 the dish I enjoyed most, butter chicken, seafood platter, paneer tikka. The flavors were authentic and portions generous. Drinks from the bar were well-prepared and reasonably priced, making it a perfect spot to relax with friends.
