Read moreGreat Coffee, But Lacking in Comfort and Experience
Pros:
Food and Coffee Quality: The coffee is genuinely good — they've clearly put effort into getting the taste right, and I have no complaints on that front.
Cons:
Ambience: While the décor looks nice at first glance, the experience doesn't match. cafe are usually places to unwind or have a good time with company, but the seating here is extremely cramped. You're often asked to share tables with strangers, which can feel intrusive and uncomfortable. Personally, I don’t enjoy overhearing others' conversations — or having them hear mine.
Temperature Control: Given Mumbai’s heat and humidity, I expected better air conditioning. Unfortunately, it was quite stuffy, and I found myself sweating during my visit — not ideal for a cafe setting.
Staff Behavior: The service was inconsistent. One staff member was polite, but another seemed inattentive and dismissive, which left a mixed impression overall.
Final Thoughts: While the product — especially the coffee — meets expectations, the overall cafe experience falls short. At the price point they charge, I expected more attention to comfort, environment, and service. I've been to more thoughtfully run cafes in developed countries that offered a better experience...
Read moreThis place came highly recommended by friends, but my first experience was disappointing. On a rainy, humid day, the place was not sufficiently cool. The seating options are weird, and the space is cramped, so if you have a seat close to the door, you're constantly exposed to warm air everytime someone opens the door. High tables, and stools which weigh a ton made sitting uncomfortable. The tables are so close to each other, that you have to brush past people everytime you want to order something. The serving staff are either untrained, or disinterested. When we asked for water, three people stood by idly and pointed us to the water dispenser. I asked for an americano, and was served half a cup of strong black coffee. I had to add hot water in order to be able to drink it. My friend ordered a Nutella something, which didn't taste like Nutella or caramel. We didn't finish it...it was too dry. She also didn't enjoy the taste of the cold Brew. The one redeeming factor was the bacon and cheese grilled sandwich. Pardon me for this rant, but I do hope the manager/owner would take note of this and bring about some changes. Oh, and the toilet was out...
